Anybody have any experience with these? I'm having trouble with the resizer/decapper die hanging on brass, especially in automatic mode. The problem seems to be that I can't get the decapping pin to set out far enough to decap the round before the neck hangs up and jams the machine up! I've extended the decapping pin out, to far apparently, because it resulted in the pin bending!

However, If I run the machine manually, I can get this done and it still hangs just slightly, but does not jam the machine!

I'm thinking it's a length of stroke issue, because in the automatic mode, it also does not seat the primer in the pocket as far as it needs to be. Other then that it works fine. I really think I just need to replace the sizing/decapping die and run it manually as you can run it faster that way then you can automatically.

I'll try to get machine info posted. I was just wondering if anybody else had any experience with these and could give me any helpful info. Thanks Jason

Re: 223 Auto loader problem

To ask a silly question............

Are the primers crimped in? IF so, sometime the normal decapping pin will not fully punch them out, but kind of "bow" then out, then I end up grabbing the primer with a vice-grip pliers. Crimp would also explain the primer seating issue.

Re: 223 Auto loader problem

Cases are 1x fired. I don't know what brand. This is a loader my department just picked up and want to get working. The cases are probably several different makes as It's a box of 3000. I didn't have the paperwork with me when I posted earlier and was pressed for time before work. Ill try to get the machine info in the morning and post a pic of the machine. Thanks
