Thinking about doing another build. Looking at either a doing a 300 Win Mag or a 300WSM. Are there advantages or disadvantages to either? Given all things the same, is one inherently more accurate over another? Shooting out to 800yds max.
Thanks,
Steve

i had some money to put on a custom build.chose Tactical Rifles out of Florida.after several days/weeks of research i found that out to a good distance the wsm is inherently more accurate.all the powder gets burnt more consistantly and faster. it is a clean burn with not much residue.

Let me just interject that at 800 yards these calibers are not even warmed up. Both 300 WM and WSM are capable of 1600+ yards, properly loaded.

I would consider cost of coponents and let that
be the deciding factor unless the one could be had in
a short action. They are both inherently
accurate.
