I have a RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Everything is stock on the rifle except for a 2 stage Timney trigger. I've been working on a woodchuck/rockchuck load using Sierra's 130gn TGK (Game Changer) bullets and H4350. After running a 300yd ladder test, 42.6gn seemed to be the charge that the rifle liked. I loaded 4 lots of 5 rounds starting with bullets touching (casehead to ogive) at 2.275" in 0.020" increments down to 2.215". Groups ranged from .786" to .921". The interesting thing is that all groups are stringing. What causes consistent stringing? Is it a velocity issue? Faster? Slower? I have room to go faster.....the primers all look good with no cratering. I'd also like this load to shoot in the 5s.
