I have a RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Everything is stock on the rifle except for a 2 stage Timney trigger. I've been working on a woodchuck/rockchuck load using Sierra's 130gn TGK (Game Changer) bullets and H4350. After running a 300yd ladder test, 42.6gn seemed to be the charge that the rifle liked. I loaded 4 lots of 5 rounds starting with bullets touching (casehead to ogive) at 2.275" in 0.020" increments down to 2.215". Groups ranged from .786" to .921". The interesting thing is that all groups are stringing. What causes consistent stringing? Is it a velocity issue? Faster? Slower? I have room to go faster.....the primers all look good with no cratering. I'd also like this load to shoot in the 5s.
Your help and advice is greatly appreciated.

I guess I never thought of that. I’m shooting off a bench and front rest with a heavy rear bag. My Nosler 140gn RDF load shoots ragged .4” holes....no stringing. When I shot the 130gn loads it was a perfect afternoon....virtually windless.

Thanks for that MarinePMI. An LRT guy I know here suggested I sneak the velocity up a little. It won't hurt to run some more batches incrementally up to another grain.
Thanks for your service.
