Gunsmithing 700 Base Screws: Size?

what is the size of the screws that affix a badger 1 piece base to the top of a 700 receiver? 3 appear to be one size and the forward most one is shorter. I need some replacements and the guy at the Star Bolt isnt going to know.

You mean length? Length might depend on a few things. You can trim the screws if theyre too long.

the length will depend on your base.drop a screw in the base and observe how much of the screw protrudes from the bottom of the base.should give you an idea.

well I had to order from Brownells. Nobody local had anything close.

6-48 .150" for the front hole
6-48 .260" for the rear three

Had to order a dozen of each for almost a buck apiece. If anyone needs one, holler and I will hook you up!
