It depends on a number of things. Like how your phone handles the Cache etc. So to be safe I just say while its paired. If it shuts down and falls asleep it shouldn't revert. But if you restart the phone, and other things, it can revert. It all depends on how the phone handles its cache data and other factors.

Magnetic, but it doesn't really matter ballistically. The declination around the world generally isn't enough to be of any significance.

After I asked, I did change up the values and turned Coriolis on and off, and found that at <1000 yd the difference is negligible.
