My very first AI
20200428_195531.jpg

Actually, I just found this thing cleaning out some crap from the basement. It came with the first AWSM I bought in 2003.

If this is sfp, pm me when your ready to sell it lol
It is. But you are a solid 3rd on the list. Haven't even shot it yet as I bought it and sent it off to get the skins done. Right at 4 months for those. Sent the barrel off to get chopped. And just got everything back and then an optic put on. So total of zero rounds so far on it.

Finally getting a chance to get it out this Sunday. Well see how it does.

Lockdown boredom and finished the foam in my hard case today!!

Figured that I would add to the collections of great Accuracy International on here. Here are my two Accuracy International. One is an AIAX in 6mm Creedmoor with a Kahles 525i with a SKMR3. The other is a AIAT with a 6.5 Creedmoor with S&B PMII 525 with a MRS. Both rifles have a Surefire break on them and I run a SOCOM RC2 30 cal suppressor with them. Both gun have Spurh rings and send it levels. All were purchased from Mike at Mile High Shooting. I love these damn guns. 😃

Got my first AI AT last month. The rifle is amazing, it is going to be my goto rifle whenever I hit the range, just way too much fun to shoot. This is with the 26" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel but also came with a 20" 7.62/308 barrel (haven't shot 308 in a while so this should be fun). Future project will be to have @trophyhunter spin me up a magnum bolt face short action bolt (once I can find a used AI bolt) and @DAVETOOLEY spin me up a 28" 7mm SAUM barrel... why not just buy a long action, maybe an AX MC is in my future but I'm a short action guy and the thought of having a 1.5 mile gun in short action that I can share with Creedmoor and 308 etc. sounds too cool to pass up.

Welcome to the club. I always considered myself a die hard short action guy but now I also have an AXMC in 338 LM to keep the AT company

I’ll play this game, here’s my short action AX that we converted to 300wsm. Tangent Theta H59 sitting in a Spuhr. Barrel is 16” with ThunderBeast 30p1 at the end all resting in a RRS tripod. This is my nilgai hunting rig.View attachment 7315268
Love the rifle but why would you ruin such a beautiful scope by putting the mosquito net reticle in it  My disdain for Horus reticles aside, you now make me want to get the bolt for the 7 SAUM that much more ;)

Small-batch, organic, grain fed, gluten free, with a hint of old school and a dose of snobbery. I like how you put a big magnum cartridge in an extremely short barrel and topped it with a long suppressor. As if to say to everyones silent unspoken question, "... because I can...and I do what I want.."😁
It started life as a shorty suppressed 308 barrel. I had the AXMC (16”)handguard and wanted it to stick out just a bit. Then I rechambered it to 300wsm. Even with that shorty barrel I’m getting 180’s at 3060fps, flips over 100lb deer like nobodies business 🤣

I did a big boy thing this week. Bought my first S&B, a PMII. Grid reticle. I’m really digging this setup.

Let me know when your ready to sell this if it's sfp lol.

I'm loving the grid reticle in my sb. The grid is easy to see through and at 12x I don't even notice it.

Hey you AX owners with the Anarchy thumb rest. Am I missing a part in this kit? Before I tear my gun apart?
Thanks. Think I am missing the threaded insert but could be weong

It looks like you have the AX buttstock, in that case the chassis will already have the metal threaded insert that the rear of the thumb rest screws into.

If you're missing the front plastic insert that should come with the kit, my apologies, you'll have to get ahold of Anarchy and have them send you one.

The Anarchy Outdoors AI thumbrest is truly a brilliant design and looks like it was designed by AI - using existing bolt holes and pieces. When installing on my AT the push button sling thingy (I can't think of the official name right now and too lazy to look it up :)) was a bear to unscrew, I thought I was going to break my allen key, but I grabbed a vice grip and locked on the other side and was able to release the tension on the screw.

Thanks, I’m glad you’re liking it! I tried to make the shape/size/angle as universal as I could, but I understand it isn’t perfect for everyone.

The 3D printed Nylon from Anarchy certainly is a step up from the original ones I was printing when I first started selling them, though! The 3D printer they use costs more than my house...
