Accuracy with a muzzle brake

Does threading a barrel and adding a muzzle brake for QD can such as the surefire series make your rifles accuracy worse? Does it matter? Most bolt rifles do not have a brake and if they have a can, it is used with a threaded one.

Anyone tested this?

Thanks
Al

If the work is done properly, there will be no difference in accuracy.

I have 5 rifles with SureFire brakes on them and they are all sub moa. Just make sure you send it to a good smith to get it threaded so your bore is concentric the threading for the muzzle adaptor.
