I recently purchased one of the .260 Sako TRG's offered by EuroOptics (these started out as regular .308's, but then were re-barrelled by Jered Joplin at APA)
I have had the rifle since Oct 2013, and I think I have it dialed in :)

What follows is a once - in - a - lifetime grouping for me... I dont think I will ever duplicate this as long as I live.
(Yes, I know it is only a 3 shot group...wasn't going to mess it up!)
Thank heavens I had a buddy there to witness this... :)

Shot at CRC in Byers, CO on March 22, 2014 at 850 Yards. Weather was terrible, around 23 deg, winds around 12mph. But I was one very happy dude... Can you tell?

For reference, the steel plate is 9 x 13 inch.
Interestingly, the load I have settled on is very mild... 140 Berger Hybrid and 41.4gr H4350= 2650 fps, from a 24 inch barrel.

Nice group SAP! I honestly wouldn't care if it's only a three shot group.... you shouldn't either. Yesterday I was out on top of a mountain shooting at steel, 1295 and 1262 yards with my TRG-42 338LM, each first cold bore shot was more accurate then the fifth. By the time the fifth round goes down the tube it's effecting the accuracy in a big way at those distances. Besides, isn't it the first round hit that really matters?

Nice shooting no matter how you or someone else sees it.

Very nice shooting and don't sweat the 5-shot group rule.

I myself was quite happy with a .16 moa 3-shot group from my R&D .308 at 300 yards.

Even if it isn't the norm it is nice to know you and your rifle can do great things together.

Nice shooting.
Three shot, 5 shot, 10 shot on and on and on.............. First ones the Only one, anything after that is a bonus just for fun.
