I've got an old 5 gallon bucket type, but it has a tendency to sling my SS pins everywhere. The new Hornady looks pretty cool, but it also looks like it might be too small. The RCBS, looks like the exact same one as the Berry's and Cabelas model, and the hinges look a little suspect. Couldn't find too much info on the Lyman, and Frankford Arsenal.

I've been using the Dillon one for near 30 years. Never a problem with it. Started with corn-cob media way-back-when and it's just as 'new condition' today as it was then, too. It'll work with st.st. pins/media, too.

The one with the blue tub is the one to which I'm referring:

Those are kinda like my bucket mounted one, I'm afraid those will sling pins too. I'm usually in a hurry, and whiz it around pretty fast, do they make a top/cover for those?
Nevermind, perused the site some more, and didn't see one.

Only Done this for Pistol Brass . I never tried it for Rifle Brass, and it might even translate over well for rifle ? , never tried .
Not high tech. but Easy, Real Fast way simple to separate SS pin media, and been doing this way for several years now ( for pistol brass ) I just use a big cut piece of 1/4"hole Nylon Mesh .

Lay the Mesh in the plastic tub .
Dump a pile of wet brass into Mesh . All water runs into Pan .
Pick up mesh with wet Brass with pins inside . Grab all 4 corners (2 corners for each hand) and hold over a big plastic tub .
'Slowly' roll up-down / right hand and left holding 2 corners each / going up & down, bending at the elbows .
And All the SS Pins just just falls into the tub as you roll brass in the Mesh .
    .

That's smart, right there. Now about that fishnet (I mean 'mesh'....) ;)

Another Dillon user for about 30 years... just using the big one (grey tub).
Corncob and walnut all went straight in. Stainless pins get a pre filter thru a 5 gallon bucket and then final spin in the Dillon to remove most remaining pins...

Another long time Dillon user. I recently bought the RCBS one because it was smaller and I wanted a dedicated one for wet tumbling. I was disappointed. The hinges and latches look cheesy and there is a groove around the bottom part that catches and traps the pins.

Don’t bother with the Franklin arsenal with the bucket and the rotary pieces, it makes a mess. I use it by pouring into the colander and put a latex glove on and shake and stir around to separate...I need to get a new one with an enclosed container
