I picked up a drum mag that had some rust and needed some TLC. I vinegar soaked it and scrubbed off the rust spots, it also took all of the bluing off. The piece is pretty much ready for finishing and I was considering bluing. Here are my questions:
1. Should I blue it or is there another finish I should consider?
2. Which bluing kit is the best? What differences are there?
3. Do you have any tips for using finishing systems?
