This gun is sweet the only draw back is that it is a single shot. I plan on using this gun for hunting so more than one round would be nice to have. A little background about the gun. It is a winchester model 70 300 WM with a Shilen barrel and it is placed in a Mcmillan stock. My question is this can I take it to a gun smith and get him to core out an area in the stock so a magazine can be dropped in there or what? What would my friends at the HIDE do?

Yes! Another Bama shooter!

A gunsmith should be able to open up the stock to allow detachable bottom metal.

another idea would be to replace the stock with a cheap takeoff. I'm not sure what a smith would charge to open the stock up.

CDI did an inlet for me about a month ago. It feeds flawlessly, and the work is perfect.
