All the Maxine Waters posts got me thinkin'.

Since the Leftists want proper education and training in order to exercise your 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, should we institute some sort of education and qualifying in order to vote?

In my opinion your negligent vote is just as deadly as a negligent discharge. Possibly more so since a vote can carry on for generations while a wild bullet stops fairly quickly and you likely see all it's damages soon after.

And while we're at it, we could also issue "Protest Permits" to those who have completed the .gov approved course.

Slippery slope, who's to say who has a negligent vote? Are you gonna rely on a Democrat to tell you that? It's easier to just allow everyone to vote then having to monitor if you've passed some test. Everyone voting would allow a more moderate worldview instead of the incessant yelling we hear from the extreme sides.

    Bull shit!
More than 75% of those voting have proven they can not control their lives, yet we all them to vote. That is fucking insane!!!!
You don't put it on the table you don't get to vote, Fuck all the whining libtards an their stupid ass students/kids.

Don't give anyone power over anything.

Learn the power of the word No whenever confronted with anyone wanting to 'have a conversation' about your God given rights or trying to get you to substantiate them to anyone.

Imagine how much different things would be if everytime anyone started with their 'its for the children' or 'lets talk about commen sense X' bullshit, they were instead met with a solid, No.

Also remember, these are the same set of dildos that want you to jump through hoop after hoop to purchase a firearm filled with gotcha pitfalls and an unlimited number of rules/regulations/made up shit that contradicts itself. Yet scream and cry when you want someone to simply identify themselves before voting, yet demand you prove that you have fucking health insurance.

And when they give out a test and all the "right" answers are libtard ideals and you fail and cannot vote, how are you going to feel?

Your to young to even suspect anything aren't you?
That IS me being suspicious. They did this to people in the 1890s to 1960s when the illiteracy rate was 4.3% of the population but black people had an illiteracy rate of 16%. Prevented a lot of AMERICANS from voting.
Imagine if you were a flat-earther and one of the questions is "Is the earth round", you state your opinion and are not allowed to vote (1st amendment violation)
Imagine if you were against vaccinations and one of the questions is about your vaccination history
What if the questions were about abortions, guns, lgbt, social security, medicare?
You really want to give the government more power to mine that information from you? To prevent you from exercising your rights?

The only test I want is verified citizen with all rights as per COTUS and MFers go to jail for a long time if commiting voter fraud.

Long time green cards, resident aliens dont get all the rights of citizenship. No vote.

What have you, yourself done for this country? Have you served any way shape form or fashion? Have you paid your share of taxes, carried any burden for/of this nation at all? Have you ever taken any kind of subsidy provided w/o paying it all back from the tax base, be it your state or National?
Why do you feel this country owes you something for just being born here or what?

I work, I pay into social security and medicare. I pay my taxes. I serve by voting, I exercise my rights by voting. I am a US citizen. I protect myself, my family and the people around me by being up to date on my LTC. I have never taken advantage of any scholarships or subsidy outside of the ACA while I was a student.
This country owes every one of its citizens their god-given unalienable or Constitution given rights. That is all. One of those rights is the right to vote.

LOL, it was a suggestion to the answer and something worth considering. If the right is all up in everyone's panties about proving citizenship, would that not be the best way to do it. I know in my state you can use your state license to vote but you do not need to be a citizen to get a state license.
Logistical problem: How do you handle the election process while everyone gets their passports? What backup system do you provide for lost, stolen, no passport but they are a US citizen.
Too many hurdles if you ask me.

We should 100 percent have Voter ID laws...

But, remember, that the Democrats raised Voter Certifications to incredible levels during Reconstruction and the Jim Crow era. Poll Taxes, Literacy tests, property tests, grandfathering (if your grandfather could not vote... nor can you!).

Today, though, it's game on for the communists. LBJ took care of that. And since they can't win on ideas, they have to rely on illegal voters (once upon a time, dead voters)... or import new voters. Ie. Illegal aliens who will all vote Democrat when they get citizenship... according to the statistics (and the Communists.) Also, intimidation and violence. Oh, wait... that was also part of Jim Crow South!

Their idea of 'fair voting laws' actually means 'laws that ensure we get elected.'

Only these days, the Communists aren't against having their former property vote... they are against the Constitution and against having anyone who understands and appreciates the Founding Fathers' Vision... cast a vote.

They have a long history... starting with ante-bellum Southern Plantation culture... to Jim Crow... to voter suppression into the 1970's in many places... and now to applying their same tactics to all of us... while wanting to rule over a population that they view as their intellectual, social and cultural inferiors.

Once upon a time, it was Africans. Now it is blue-collar Americans in flyover country.

    Tired of it yet?

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

Doesn't the 15th amendment strictly state that ""right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude". So you cannot qualify the first part without the second and vice versa meaning citizens have the right to vote?

This country owes you nothing. Government is a construct of the People. It exists and serves only at the fickle whim of the People.

Our rights are just that rights. They exist therefore they are. To what extent we are able to exercise them is based on to what extent we allow government to fuck with us.

We are a peaceful people to an extent.

I was just trying to give you a counterpoint to forcing "certification" on gun owners.

I do believe that IF I have to 'prove' my right to purchase a firearm then there should be laws 'verifying' your right to vote. I.E. voter ID.

But to be perfectly honest, I don't think you should have to 'prove' anything to get either. It should be up to the .gov to 'prove' you're unable to vote or own a firearm. But that's just me.

No, that means "if" there is a vote they cant be denied because of race, color, or previous condition of servitude. Nobody says there has to be a vote, so there is no right to vote.

Buy more ammo. I just dropped a k on some.
I dropped a $1,000.00 last week for ammo to feed latest toy, an only got 400rds. Then picked up 300 specialty projos from Lehigh for it, to the tune of $340.00 The spent 200.00 on 8# of Re33, good thing I have primers. This getting ready shit ain't cheap, but alas I'm flush on everything else that is considered normal street resupply.
