So I bought some goods of the Hide, all went smooth and according to plan. USPS shows they were delivered on 8/21 with tracking info. No where to be found. Its Lapua brass and a micrometer aeating die, the last two things I need to get my new .260 up and running.
Aaarrrrgggghhhhh
The local post office is working to help me. Making sure it wasnt accidently delivered to the wrong house or anything else on their end. They are actually being helpful, but it still sucks.
Ok I'm done.

Sounds like that could be it. Maybe the decided to make Lapua brass one hitters?
But it was found. A substitute carrier delivered it to the neighbors house. He likes booze and oxycontin so it was just sitting in his house, dont even think he noticed the name wasnt his.
Anyways, disaster narrowly averted and off to the races.

I shipped a money order with tracking and the tracking said "Delivered" when actually we came to find out it was sitting in their post office 2 weeks later. I guess mistakes happen, but damn! USPS seems to have a disproportionate amount of mistakes.

NOt if you consider the absolute volume the handle, and the very competitive prices.

Like Gump said, "It happens."

I do think when I items over $100, I will just include insurance as part of shipping, maybe a signature for high end items. Its pretty cheap comparatively. It gives one piece of mind and some way to recoup expense if the shipping company screws up. Though this one turned out well, but that isn't always the case
