You sir are one of a kind. This reminds me of the two men who made triggers for the XP100 when IHMSA was a big sport. One was Mike Dewey, an engineer. The other was Del Taylor, a jeweler. Both were OUTSTANDING triggers. I own(ed) three of the triggers by Mr. Taylor and two by Mr. Dewey. Mr. Taylor’s trigger was a work of art. Delicate and gorgeous in every respect. Drop that XP100 with the trigger set at 2.5 ounces, not a worry. Mr. Dewey’s triggers were a work of absolute perfection, not a single piece nothing, wasted, everything in its place. Holds the sear just as well as Mr. Taylors. I never had a Dewey trigger past 4 ounces, but never failed a test.).

You sir seem to be a combination of the best of both. Beautiful artwork, that is perfectly functional.

Now forget all the flowers and smelly perfume and GET BACK TO WORK! :D.

Del Taylor trigger on the XP. If you look close you can see how finely made he trigger shoe is.

Dewey Trigger on this center grip conversion of an Anschutz 64P. If you look closely you can see that the trigger shoe is just a knurled rod. Not as pretty but just as functional.

Thank you, Sir. Much appreciated.

I have a couple of those triggers around here somewhere. I put at least a couple in the V-22 actions for pistol builds like you have pictured. It was quite a task.

Mornin, David,
Thank you.

My logo is based on ISAIAH 54:17

"No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgement. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD." (ESV)

The elements of the logo are a shield, a flame, and a broken sword.

The shield represents the armor of God.
The flame represents the glory of God, which is why I'm doing what I'm doing; to glorify Him.
The sword is broken because no weapon fashioned against me, us, anyone that believes and has faith, shall succeed.

Thank you for asking.

Pretty cool. We might disagree on religion, but that's dead excellent.

This "system" oriented project is moving along very well. Without an adopted "standard," the feed/cycle issues abound. I'll be covering this in the third video of my video series.

My list of field testers, @DownhillFromHere, @Rob01 and a few others not on this site will receive 10 round mags in parallel to project movement. So stay tuned....

The 10 round DDG V-Series mags are running, followed by the 15s, 12s and last but not least, the 17s. Then the X-Series will start in a similar order.

looking forward to viewing your third video regarding feed/cycle issues

I'm appreciative of the interest and questions, and based on my last post, I'll post up a few pics of the delineation of magazine capacity and Barricade Stop Lengths. The lengths are Short, Medium, Long, Xtra Long and coincide with the 10, 12, 15, and 17 round capacities of the V-Series and X-Series Magazines.

I made the DBM transparent in the pics so one can associate the capacity with the associated Barricade Stop in the assemblies.
The V-Series magazines are running now, and I'll fold the DBMs into production within the next two to three weeks.

I hope this helps and keep the questions coming.

I have the first 1000 Main Spring Kits in inventory.

In case you've missed prior posts about the replacement Main Springs (Firing Pin Spring), I have the first 1000 kits in stock.

Included in the kit is:

15 lbf--Green
16 lbf--Orange
17 lbf--Red
18 lbf--Purple
19 lbf--Blue
20 lbf--Yellow
22 lbf--No Color (standard spring)

I'm doing these kits as part of what it means to fine tune the fire control system. They work hand-in-hand with the adjustable Cocking Piece to deliver the correct amount of needed energy to the case rim.

Anyone interested in a kit, shoot an email to [email protected].

Hey Guys, sorry for the radio silence, it's been crazy, and sorry this is so long, but there's a lot to share to catch everyone up. For some, it may be a TLDR post.

As one might imagine, things have been a little crazy with magazines in production, along with a vast number of other parts, packing and shipping parts and continuing development on other projects. So, I'm a bit past due on providing an update and taking an opportunity to answer some of the FAQs I receive on a daily basis.

Parts Kits
I get a lot of questions about Parts Kits, and I get it, it has taken a while to force everything to move in the same direction all at once. As many of you know, as has been indicated by the number of orders I've received and shipped, I've had plenty of the DDG-G2G3-60DCP (Gen2/Gen3 60 Degree Cocking Piece) and have just under 200 left in stock. I'm placing another order next week.

I also have around 900 Main Spring Kits in stock and continuing to receive orders for these, along with the Extractor/Pusher Spring Kit (roughly 1000 E/P Spring Kits in stock).

Later next week, I'm expecting:

100--DDG-G2G3-FP--Gen 2 Gen 3 Firing Pin (Repeater)
100--DDG-G3FP-SS--Gen 3 Firing Pin (Single Shot)
200--DDG-PLUNG-V22--Extractor/Pusher Plunger
And 100 each of all flavors of threaded pins for the Bolt Stops (Gen 1/Gen 1.2, Gen 2 and Gen 3) and Anti-Rotation Threaded Pins for the Gen 2 and Gen 3 actions.

Now, this brings me to what's about to start production:

Bolt Shrouds
Bolt Shrouds for Gen 1.2 and Gen 2/Gen 3 actions are in the early phase of production. I currently have no plans of making the original Gen 1 Bolt Shroud, Cocking Piece and Firing Pin due to the pinned-in-place cocking piece.

Anyone needing to replace those parts in your Gen 1 can upgrade to the Gen 1.2, which provides the advantages of using the Gen 2/Gen 3 Adjustable Cocking Piece and Firing Pin.

I have designed a Bolt Disassembly Tool (pictured below) for the Gen 1.2, but it also works on Gen 2 and Gen 3, Repeater and Single Shot. It will go into production next week.

There will be Right Hand and Left Hand Bolt Shrouds as depicted in the rendering below.

Extractors/Pushers
The Extractors and Pushers have been wire cut for quite a while and waiting on a secondary op to be performed on a machine that hasn't arrived/been set up yet. I'll let everyone know as soon as they're available.

Bolt Stop Kits
The Bolt Stops for Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 were held up, so I'm making some adjustments and they're going into production alongside the Bolt Shrouds. I will have all the threaded pins for these next week and I've had springs in stock for a while.

Next Week
I'll be at the machines all next week finalizing a number of things on the V-Series Magazine production; the 10 round is in production now.

I'll provide updates nearly real-time so everyone can follow along. After the first 500 V-Series 10 round mags are completed, the 15 round V-Series will start, followed by the 12 round, then the 17 round. I have 5000 10 round springs in stock with another 5000 being made and I have first article samples of the 12, 15, and 17 round springs to perform final validation.

So, all the balls are still in the air and mostly, all projects are moving in parallel. If I've been a little slow to answer some emails, it's likely due to me missing it because of the barrage of emails and questions I receive, so if you don't hear back from me within a day, hit me again and I promise I'll get to you.

Thanks,
MB

Hi Mike,

I have been meaning to ask, since you mentioned the 15-round springs for the DDG magazines, do you think the RIMX mags with the +5 extension would benefit by getting your 15-round springs that are for the X2215 and putting them in the RImX w/+5 ext?

So the crack is between the 2 halves where they are welded together .. the one on the left actually moves in and out when you squeeze it. The middle one hasn’t cracked through all the way yet but it’s coming.

Anything I can do to salvage it or toss it and switch to metal DDG mags when Mike finishes them ?

You can try two part epoxy (Acra Glass Gel) and spring clamps. Be careful not to use too much.

Yessir, my 15 round magazine springs will work beautifully for that.

when do you anticipate the 15rd RimX magazines will be available? Or should I say shipped to those who pre-ordered?

The 10 round V-Series is running now (I’m machine-side all this week) followed by the 15, 12 and 17, then starting on the X-Series 15 round.

I’ll have a better handle on delivery of the X-Series by the end of this week.
