I can’t believe rational, logical people would cast a vote for this fucking idiot. Regardless of anyone’s political / ideological leanings, he’s a total non-starter as a small town mayor let alone President of the United States.

Having dealt with family members with demensia and alzheimers disease I feel for Biden and blame his family and handlers. He appearse to my untrained eye to be in early stages, as he gets fatigued it will only worsen. He may get to the point of being angry at the situation that is beyong his control and has no way to express it and thus will lash out. Most likely at him self but maybe at those around him.
It is time for his loved ones to shelter him and minimize stressful situations for him. Mornings will be when he is more lucid but those moment will end earlier and earlier in the day until they become sporatic. It is a terrible disease that is heart breaking.
While I dont care for the man nor his stance on most if not all subjects I hate he must go through this and wish him all the best. His family should remember that they are setting the example to their future caregivers of how to treat someone who needs care when their own time comes.

This makes a lot of sense and is likely what happened. I watched that speech and thought something was odd about it. Like the lack of usual gaffes and stumbles. Given how everything was virtual with their convention no doubt they took advantage and pre-recorded/heavily edited that shit.

Agree, the likelihood of a live, televised-in-real-time debate (which has been a norm and customary part of the electoral process since 1960) is minimal. His handlers are all too smart for that and per their usual MO, will slither out of doing so.

I think it would be great if at the debate (if we get them) if President Trump in a show of compassion and mercy was to help Joe get up if he falls down or helps Joe finish his sentences. By taking pity on poor joe it would show the people that Joe Biden is waaayyyy past his prime and he is only being used by the left as the trojan horse he may or may not know he is. He should be home enjoying his family and his life. Praying to God for forgiveness for the damage and evil he helped perpetrate. He's been in the arena long enough. He looks more and more like a zombie everyday. He is crashing fast.
I'm quite sure my father, 10 days before he passed, was able to speak more clearly than this and without sounding like he's well...dying. I know 21 days before he passed when he came back from "nursing home physical therapy" he was able to forcefully say..."I'm going right up those stairs and to bed." He couldn't of course, but there was not one bit of hesitation or gasping for words there. I doubt Joe knows what the stairs are and couldn't even say that. He's well beyond slight dementia, he's got to have full blown Alzheimer's or some other severe form of age-related mental decline.
