Just curious, on M40A3s and M24s, for example, are they all tuned old style Remington triggers, or do they use aftermarket triggers or xmarks on some of them?

The M-24 comes with an adjustable screw located on the face of the trigger pad that controls weight of pull. Remington calls this a "Model 40-X" trigger.

However, they also made another version of Model 40-X trigger with an adjustment screw located directly in front of the trigger, also externally adjustable, which was not issued on M-24's.

Im not sure about the military weapons but I received my mlr 338 several months back and was surprised that it didn't have the x mark pro brigger but the older trigger with the serated trigger face. Adjusted to 2 pounds with no creep verry quickly and is very nice.
