First Tactical Rifle????

Considering a precision rifle and saw this on Gun Broker, SAVAGE 10 TR 308 WIN 20" MTT THREADED BBL. The lister says it is so new it doesn't show on the website and I couldn't find it. Here is a link to his listing. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=332387140 His description shows a lot of goodies that I would want on a rifle like this such as the tactical bolt knob, threaded barrel and bridge scope mount. It looks like a good bit of gear for the cost. The stock would probably be okay for a while but an upgrade wouldn't have to wait long at theis initial price.

Has anyone seen one or have an opinion on Savage Model 10s in general?

I think the Model 10 is the best you can get for the money and that price is certainly better than I would have expected (I have a 10FP in .308 and 10 Predator Hunter in .243 that has an Accustock). I actually like the Accustock. I think they're solid stocks. However, the ergonomics are lacking for certain types of shooting, but they make a good hunting stock in my opinion. I don't think you can go wrong with a Savage.
