Awesome, makes me want to build a magnum.

Why must this site cost me so much money!! :p

something like 4-6 shots to get into the zone.
my windage was always pretty spot on but the vertical had some spread to it.

i think this is because of powder measurement accuracy.
my chrono results (10 round sample size) was 2825fps, SD=20, ES=71
so maybe i need a more accurate scale when reloading.

yes,no?

ya, that may be right, i just JBM ballistics with the SD at 20:
2805 fps = 21.9 mil drop
2825 fps = 21.5 mil
2845 fps = 21.2 mil

crap, that's 3/4 of the target height - LOL

If you want a powder measure that will measure to the 100th of a gr, go with the Acculab VIC123 or something comparable. I typically weigh +/- .01 gr.

Or the Gempro 250. It's affordable as well and does a great job

man i wish i could do 92.5, at 92 i get some sticky bolt lift and ejector marks as well as my group goign to absolute crap (5-6 MOA at 100) where as 88grains gives me the best window (OCW) and most accuracy at 3/4 MOA @100 and 200 (backing up to 1k this weekend) im at 2725 FPS with a SD of 15FPS though so once i get some more pow ill back it up to 1 mile and hopefully get on par with all your ELR shooters!

Congratulations...way out of my minor league abilities...can't even imagine that accomplishment.

2500 yards?

Great shooting maybe 2500yds next

well, 2200 for sure.
at 2000, i was maxed out exactly on the scope. i have an integrated 30MOA base.
i wish it was 40.

2200 requires 4 mils holdover.

not as hard as you think. just need the precision gun.
hell, i probably had a 15% hit ratio out there - lol - need a better powder measuring scale now

money - m o n e y - $ M $ O $ N $ E $ Y out da window.

Here in La you'd be lucky to find a place you can see 400 yards. I'd have to stretch it out across the gulf to get 2000.

Congrats. Grew up just west of there in Edwards. Loved four corners because of the burger place, and the cool truckers that would always talk to me.

Did 2000 yards with a Savage 110BA .338 LM with a Night Force NXS scope. Scope was maxed out so I purchased a 40 MOA rail so I can extend the range.
Oh yeah, Berger 300 grn OTM with 90.5 grns of H1000.

would that be the astro burger place on the NNW corner?
we took off at 3:30 and got to pilot before sunrise & filled up with coffee.

going back in a few weeks i hope.
my shooting buddy with a savage 110FCP just got his 40MOA base in...

medic433,
mine is an integrated 30MOA machined right on the receiver. can't get any more - but i am OK with holdover.
i have an anticant level.
