I'm at 384 days since cashed date. Finally broke down and called three days ago. 50 minute wait on the phone just to be told my suppressor is still pending.I’m at 335 on paper 4 trust. Really hoping I’m within a year, has me close if so. Waiting almost just as long for a krieger also.
My Trash Panda was at 4 days shy of 14 months and my Wolfman was 425+ days....I'm at 384 days since cashed date. Finally broke down and called three days ago. 50 minute wait on the phone just to be told my suppressor is still pending.
I saw that this morning, and got excited about for my first eForm that's about 95 days certified, but then opened it and immediately said, "FUCK!!!"God damnit. I’m at 167 days and just received an email from the atf, got excited just to open it and see it’s about website maintenance.
I wouldn't hold your breath... My last 3 papers were 14, 11, and 13 months...I’m at 335 on paper 4 trust. Really hoping I’m within a year, has me close if so. Waiting almost just as long for a krieger also.
Your bank statementWhere do you see when the check was cashed
The way it was explained to me, was the day you certify, is the day the ATF cashes your check. So, Cert date replaced Cash date.Where do you see when the check was cashed
It’s quite odd that you can literally buy a gun same day, including the background check. Buying a suppressor, same background check, takes so long.
Yes, they say to allow up to 45 days. Mine was about 3 weeks. Is it normal for it to take 3 weeks for an approved form 4 to get to a dealer?
Yup... Paper forms can take up to a month from date of approval, to arrive at the dealer, according to what I was told by the lady at the ATF when my last paper form 4 got approved a few months ago. I think my last one took about 3 weeks, as well.Is it normal for it to take 3 weeks for an approved form 4 to get to a dealer?

I’m pretty sure you can’t sell it until it’s approved anyway. I would definitely contact your congressman.Does anyone know how hard it would be to sell a suppressor that is in NFA jail? I bought a Area 419 Maverick now almost a year and a half ago. STILL IN PROCESSING!!!!. I don't even want the damn thing anymore. 515 days, at this point and I would just rather be happy with the ones I have. Anyone ever tried this before?
No, normal wait now is like 13-15 months for paper forms, so 200 days is still WAY shorter.Did my first e-form certification a few months ago. Was in there a few weeks ago to pick up an action, and he said the “90 days” is more like 200 days. So normal, non e-form wait. Cool.
About 530 days individual form 4. No use calling them. All they have told me is it’s pending FBI background twice. Next call will be at two years. At least some guys are getting there’s.I'm at 384 days since cashed date. Finally broke down and called three days ago. 50 minute wait on the phone just to be told my suppressor is still pending.
My friend, I will almost guarantee that the FBI has your NICS check (background check) on hold for some fucked up reason or another as there is no way this is still pending an FBI NICS check after 530 days without something being fubar'd.About 530 days individual form 4. Contact your federal representative (Senate or House) and their constituent services weenie will get with ATF who will come back and give some info on why they have not been able to issue an approval....most likely will be "he has been on FBI NICS Delay for 79 days" or the like.
With that info, you can then proceed to ferret out WTF the FBI is doing with your NICS check.
Well, at least that approach worked for me.

Anybody. Has zip to do w first time or how many NICS checks you have had.Quick question. Is this madness just for first time buyers or do you roll the dice with future purchases?
Ok
I submitted everything in December. Is it normal for them to not have cashed my check yet?

Don’t matter…either way the answer is “no”Efile or paper form?
Paper form
Through a local shop that has handled a ton of theses. I will be fucking furious if they fucked it up and my clock hasn’t even started yet.Usually takes 30 days to cash the check, that's when the official wait time starts, so you're behind 8 months. Did you submit the form through a third party like silencer shop?

100% their is something wrong with something somewhere. You are a lot more patient than me as I'd be livid. Absolutely zero reason why it should be taking this long. Contact your local rep/congress person and have them inquire on your behalf. Your form is probably being used as a coffee coaster.I'm 627 days since sending my fingerprint card to silencer central. Paid in full since they've had the card. Seems like it can't possibly take this long. My god I've had 6 background checks in the same amount of time.
