Suppressors Form 4 wait time
I think that I read just what was intended into that post. But also say, solid advice.
Buddy at work submitted his 12/26 and got it back first week of February. I filed 2nd week of February and have my fingers crossed.
Same experience on 4473s. This was the first time I called the NFA hotline to ask about my status since I’ve seen so many wicked fast proceeds coming back. My first can took 93 days (certified at the beginning of the eform launch) then the next two took 8 months but that felt on par with everyone else. Not sure what necessitated a delay on this one, but it sure is frustrated seeing these quick proceeds haha!My delays at the local FFL, on a 4473, last 5-15 minutes before they call back.
My "delayed-ntn" status with NFA items, averages around 150 days. Not sure what the fuck they're doing over there; but it ain't hurrying. Waiting on 3 submitted 11/6.

I used Silencer Central kiosk on all my form 4.
Used them on 3 of my 4. First one was 2015 before anyone near me had them in shop.
Are they any better than Silencer Shop or just different?

System crashed as I was certifying my oculus. Still in shock. May grab another ultra before I certify my oculus to test the batch approval.
Any of these quick approvals on trusts? Or all individuals?
All 3 of mine were individuals. My buddy has 3 pending in a trust in late January.... Nothing.

I have written my Congressman about the whole E-Form deal. He is normally very responsive, so maybe bringing it to his attention will help get us some answers.

Dang. I am hoping that the eForms shutdown is due to the ATF working to eliminate the huge backlog (my suppressors should be approved anytime now...I pray!!). Three days though...JEEZ!

WTF… I’m seeing all these come back in record time, yet I’m at like 85 days on my most recent submission (trust, obviously…which is probably why).

I am not registered for an ATF account. Is the eForms system still down?
So they are still doing approvals even after it was shut down on February 27.
This link says it is just maintenance.

I like how most of us are trying to comprehend the eforms issue like we haven't had experience with the atf inconsistencies in everything. Lol.

It definitely seems the FBI wasn’t the holdup in the process.
AFAIK, when the paperwork is handed to the FBI for the background check, they simply use NICS as they would for a regular firearm purchase from an FFL.
This further illustrates the fact that there should be no impediment to purchasing NFA items over the counter like someone would purchase a non-NFA firearm.

That’s what we always assumed but according to the atf the FBI was the holdup, never believed them
yep! Form 4's will be approved as short as 5 hours or as long as..........never.
Eform website went down at exactly 3pm EST Wed. 02/28. His approval email came in Thurs 02/29 morning.
