Rifle Scopes Going to Romania would you but IOR ?

Not sure how true this still holds, but last i checked the IOR terminator could be bought in ROM for close to 1/2 off. If so would you buy the scope? What price would you buy it without remorse at ? I'm thinking of buying a Sako TRG 42 and want to know if it is worth my trouble to get a scope while in Bucharest. Also does anyone know if there is any import restriction ? Sorry for the questions if it is patently stupid but i am very new so I figured I'd ask

I would advise against as CS in US is light years better than in Europe and God forbid anything is wrong with your new scope i don't know how you and they will work it out. My advice (if fucking ITAR weren't in place i'd buy it myself from Scott@Liberty) is to buy it in US from reputable dealer and forget 1/2 OFF as its bullshit (there is possibility to get it at discount but that is once a year and i won't go into detail about it...) unless stolen from the factory.

You maybe able to get them a lot cheaper over there and getting them back into the USA maybe easy to do. Scope like this are called gray market. If you have an issue with the scope and it is here in the USA you may have a hard time getting it repaired, you may have to send it back to the manufacture yourself and getting back into the USA maybe harder to do.
