First off let me thank you guys for being so patient with my questions.
I just got a VOrtex scope and have a question with the markings on the elevation turret.
Each revolution of the turret adds 18 moa. There are lines on the turret base (non rotating part) that are marked 1 through 3. My common sense says that as you rotate the turret and add 10 MOA then the 1 line would be exposed. 20 moa would reveal the 2 line etc. However this isnt the case.
Are they therre simply for returning back to zero? For example, to return to zero the 0 would be one full revolution past the 1 line.
Home this makes some sort of sense, kinda hard to describe.
Thanks in advance,
Rhoades
