I need a name for a rifle action company. Help me and win.

Alchemy Actions

Alchemy is an influential philosophical tradition whose practitioners have, from antiquity, claimed it to be the precursor to profound powers. The defining objectives of alchemy are varied, but historically have typically included one or more of the following goals: the creation of the fabled philosopher's stone; the ability to transform base metals into the noble metals (gold or silver); and development of an elixir of life, which would confer youth and longevity.

I never served in the 82nd but...

All American Rifles (AAR) Easy to remember and meets all your intent

Rifle names could be based on unit names......so you could division/bridgade nicknames

Big Red One

Currahee,

The possiblities are endless.

Two trains of thought here, sorta. First off, with a name along the lines of "Honorable"... who can complain or argue with that intent, right?

But then naming the models and/or styles of your firearms after Medal of Honor recipients (you don't "win" those) not unlike the way the Navy names their ships and whatnot.... this way these incredible folks names can be getting out there again, while the media has forgotten about them. At first I thought of the "MoH", "Silver Star", and "Bronze Star" and whatnot... as well as from other countries such as "Medal of Valour" and such.... but what (most importantly) about those who've actually EARNED them? The last thing that should happen, is they be forgotten. So bring up their names again, if you can get your ducks in a row vis-a-vis the families and whatnot.

The point there, is to have their names brought back into daily life, to remind us all about their efforts and accomplishments. Not to mention, their sacrifices.

But then....
there is also a bit of a devilish side of me, whom is thinking of totally twisting this around, as well. One could be called the:

"Media Arms Company" or something like that.

And for different models you could be looking at names such as:

Headline
Front Page
Editor
Reporter
Classifieds
Font
Handbill
Flyer
Hard Cover
Paperback
etc....

The point is,,,, use their 'world' against them, and for the first time,,, FOR the shooting sports. Heck of a way to turn heads and garner attention, right? But I still lean towards the Medal recipients though,,, as they deserve more recognition. And I don't mean for this to 'capitalize' on their names.... don't get me wrong. I'm talking about bringing their names back into the limelight, so as to not be forgotten. Again. Can anyone here name the first 10 MoH recipients, WITHOUT googling it?

To date, there have been 3,463 recipients, 79 of which are still alive, and only 19 who received TWO.

And I'm sure that if you were to take on this endeavor, that you would do so, Honorably. Right?

I served as a infantryman in the 101st as well as a sniper Instructor.

I was also thinking of "sniper" in other languages

You can always add 10% to the price tag and donate to a charity like "Wounded Warriors" or funds going to the families of MOH winners. I doubt they would mind. As a matter of fact I believe they would embrace it.

Rights/Righteous Arms. Rights as in Bill of... Use Amendment before or after the action name, or use numbers. Or, use phrases from within the text.

Being that we were cut from the same cloth brother, I love the idea of an action based off a call sign (i.e Reaper6 or mine leprechaun 4charile).

Just ideas.... I'll talk to you next weekend at the shoot brother! And congrats, I'm happy for ya.

Depending on where you are in Nebraska:

Platte River Precision
Loess Hills rifles
Sand Hills precision
Roubidoux Pass Precision (Near Gering in the panhandle) very historic place, named in the old trapper days.
Wildcat Hills precision
Niobrara custom actions

I assume you are looking for the general name and will decide if your company will be precision/ordnance/ or a machine and took or whatever you would like to be known as.

One last one:

Fatty Custom Actions
1st rifle model is "The Shankster"

You want a name and I'll give you one.

No Name Armaments- The idea is simple if you can't think of anything. Rifle names can go from Anonymous, Random, Unknown, Question, Curiosity, Enigma. Simply any word with a definition of being hard to comprehend is a potential rifle build.

Then there's...

All Army Arms-Whatever you can imagine as far as this would work, you could do Task Force designations, or go for vintage, and give them all Model designations, like M1911, or M2, in front of your rifles. You can even go with fortification names like bunker, beachhead, fort(ress), camp, COP, etc.

And the last one is...

American Steppe Rifles- The Steppes, in Russia are plains, so it can tie in both American and Russian themes if you wish, or any other grassland themes, and can be applied to ranch guns as well, or some type of hunting line perhaps. Maybe gopher guns, or prairie dog rifles of a sort too.

Precision Sticks

Another insightful and constructure post courtesy of Cobra Cutter.

Cobra, lets think about this. Operator45 is going to branch out on his own with his own money to try to replace a void that one of the most popular action makers has left. In such a competitive market, it makes complete sense to gamble so much money and not stick with what works and offer another 700 print action to which almost every aftermarket company caters too. Do you fall down alot while walking?
