Had promised to send some pics from my dad’s WWII Photo Squadron scrapbook from European Theater. So, that said, we have much to be thankful for, thanks to efforts of this bunch-different time, different day, but owe a piece of our continuing independence to this period in our history. Might need to break up pics a bit-there’s a bunch, but should provide a bit of flavor for what our grandfathers/mothers might have been through back then. 2D8C55F3-1F29-4F2E-B43C-15BD855203A0.jpeg
If you don’t recognize him readily, it’s because his tungsten carbide balls are in the way, and we’ve probably left Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo in a long forgotten history book. Jimmy Doolittle, a one of a kind serious badass. 979BFFCC-1556-400C-918E-6F19768F006C.jpeg94B1CA05-8094-4AB2-B709-421EBFD2155B.jpeg8B36B533-CB33-4B8D-84CC-730C0ED311E3.jpegE48162BF-705D-4E14-96EB-7073D1AC0FB7.jpegE1D87B08-A66C-4A8F-9490-F50CC984720B.jpeg924E3B63-F588-4AA3-8B10-39AB2A2FC1ED.jpeg10650062-3F11-4E3F-B904-DC99404F4736.jpeg69787424-4FB5-4452-8327-7668C9FBB045.jpeg
