Manners stocks post em up!!

I LOVE Manners stocks. Love, love, love them. Built like a tank. Not prone to chipping. LOVE the texture. Price point for what you get is very good. Tom, Matt and all the gang there are just downright good people. In fact, they are friends who go out of their way to help you when you need it.

When we stock products, we're looking for quality kit AND a company the is there for support should you need it. Buy Manners with confidence!

There are a few of the ones we got just today...

And some more of the typical ones we like...

Of course, I used one on my personal 6.5 Creedmoor build...

Here are some pictures our friend Richard King took for us...

RFutch,

I see that MCS-T (I think?) and have previously seen you have a McM A5 on a Savage 10PC. I've got a couple A5s and am thinking of picking up a MCS-T for an "all-purpose" build.

Obviously the A5 and MCS-T are different and stock preference is subjective...but how does the grip on the T compare to the A5?

They feel different but they both accomplish the same goal for me. They both put my hand in a natural position and trigger finger at a 90 degree. I like the MCS-T better for positional shooting or hunting.

Manners EH-4, with USgunworks Gap Desert camo. Quickly becoming my favorite stock, it just feels good to shoot; prone, bench, or from a tree stand.

Frank I tried to post this last night early AM but I must have messed up with fatigue..

Anyway your rig looks great... When I bought my T5A from Euro Optic, they had two basically matching stocks that I had wanted, both MCS T5A DBMs and that is what I wanted, a T5A with Badger Ordnance Mini-Chassis. Further they had the bipod studs I would have wanted to order (2-front and 1 rear) and furthermore had the dual left side flush cups. Basically they had two stocks identically made to what I would have ordered custom with the huge wait, and they had two camo colors... So I could choose from Forest Camo and Desert Camo (I make yours a T5A in Desert Camo?). I wound up debating AT LENGTH... even going back to the one T5A that Stockys Stocks had in some sort of tan color...but i liked the idea of having camo and also liked the idea it was more 'one of a kind'... and at the end of my deliberations, I started looking at pictures of my new 30 acres in Florida we hope to move to within the year, and decided it was more Forest Camo matching.

But seeing yours makes me wonder if I made the right decision, it's a great looking setup.

Haha ... That's where I got it ... I looked at your stock also then it was gone.. Post some pics .. Thanks and good luck with your rig

I don't know how to post pics but I got I think 4 or 5 manners stocks right now. THey are my absolute favorite. I love my McMillians and H-S too but Manners have a special place against my shoulder, cheek, and right hand. Tom and Matt are great guys that run a business the right way. I go with them over McMillain mostly because of how the biz is ran. I don't buy anything because of how good CS is. Never, If I think I may need CS then I don't want the product at all. My manners are beat up but they aint at all close to failing or causing problems. THey are money well spent. I mostly go T5-T5A but I like my TF1 as well. I don't have a T4 anymore but it was great as well. Cant go wrong with anything. An EH is probably next in line.

This is a Remington SA with a rock creek m24 contour. Let me know if you have anymore questions!

That thing is gorgeous and I think the basis for my precision rifle build.

How did you go about building it? Did you have someone build it for you? Where did you buy the parts for it? Are rock creek barrels currently available?

Well thank you! It was my first custom build. I had a Remington 700 VLS in 22-250 that I bought back in high school. All I did was ordered the barrel from bugholes. I then shipped everything to Keith at Phoenix Custom Rifles to have them true the action, open base holes to 8-40, install barrel and bolt knob. I was lucky to pick up the manners tf4 here on the hide. It has the manners mini chassis. Hope this helps! Keith and Brad at PCR are top notch and I recommend them highly!

Here is my EH1 with the mini chassis.

I added a Karsten cheek rest to it.

One of the animals taken with it this year. Shot him about an hour after bolting my barreled action into it.

I love that setup, I am putting together something similar. How do you like the hdmr on there? I was considering the same scope but was worried it might be too heavy/bulky...

This was a 26" tactical I had cut down to 18" and it weighs 11lbs with the G2DMR on it. The scope weighs 2lbs but the more I hunt with it the more I like it. I don't need to swap between binoculars and scope nearly as much as I used to with scopes that had top ends around 12 or 14. Now if I want to judge a buck or see if he has extra tines I just slide the power to around 20 instead of reaching for the binos. I generally leave it around 12x or lower depending on where I'm hunting. Nice to have the extra field of view for when things happen fast. I like the ideas and design behind the new 3-12 Bushnell hunting version G2 but I will have a hard time losing that much top end. At only 22oz the new scope is pretty tempting for this rig though. The gun feels good and balances well the way it is but if you had a heavier stock and longer barrel it would be pretty heavy. I love it how it is really.

I have the MCM-T and just ordered a 16.5 aac 308. I had kind of stalled on the build but after seeing the pic of your rifle, I am really eager to finish. What part of GA are you in?

Central, near Macon. My buddy has the 20" AAC in a Manners T2A with mini chassis and it's a great shooter. That 16.5" will be handy, you'll like it.

Here's a pic from a range trip last month. Sorry about the shitty quality, but all I had was my iPhone. By the way, this was after letting my rifle sit for about 30 minutes to shoot a different rifle. I love this state....

Awesome picture and awesome stick.

Any issues with the Viper HS 5-15x in the cold and snow?

Thanks! No problems at all with the scope. Unfortunately, I didn't get to push out as far as I wanted that day. Visibility was limited to about 250 yards thanks to the snow. My buddy's Millett fogged up pretty badly, but the Vortex stayed clear as long as I removed the snow building up on the objective bell. I don't think any scope is immune to that, though.

I've got a TA on order now and I'm going to be putting a OD green barreled action in it.

Any opinions on what a modified GAP or Woodland would look like. I'm thinking it would look good if you did the Green from the Gap, the Brown from the Woodland, and the Reddish Brown from the Dark Forest?

Don't have much experience with camo but I'd prefer not to have black in it. Should I just go with the woodland then?

This looks really nice and is almost what I'm going for except replacing the light color with the reddish brown color from the Dark Forrest Camo.

The Woodland is by far my favorite Manners. I agree, I try to avoid black. I have some pictures of the rifle in the woods and the colors blend perfectly with the autumn leaves.
