Alright, I've been shopping around and considering a KAC SR25 ECC. I was just reading their website for specs, saw that the weight is listed at 9.12lb. That's strange since LaRue lists the weight of the 16" OBR at 9.25.
I expected the ECC to be significantly lighter than the OBR because of the handguard design, lack of the huge 20MOA rail, and ball-milled barrel.
What gives? I know manufacturer listed weights can sometimes be deceiving, and I really don't want to pull the scope off my OBR to verify. Does anyone have an ECC they could weight for me to confirm the weight they list?
Is the difference really that small?
