Max COAL 7-08 162AMAX/168 VLD w/ AICS?

Hey fellas what's max COAL you can jam a 7-08 w/ 162 AMAX and/or 168 VLD into a AICS magazine?

IIRC, reading the AICS/AW/AE sticky and the max COAL at 2.880?

Just wondering if that's an accurate measurement or if there's more room?

2.860" OAL is all I can get reliably in AICS magazine. Some of my mags will take 2.870" but with tolerance stack I'd plan on running 0.010" to 0.020" shorter so you don't have rounds hanging up in mag.

Remove front plate or get Type 2 mag from Alpha Ind., now able to load out 2.980" OAL.
