You realize at this point they owe Nixon a hell of an apology.

Its probably a good thing she rigged the primary for the loser (her) to win.
Im convinced Bernie would have won otherwise and we would be on our way to becoming Venezuela.

I think the race was close because Hillary did have a veneer of democracy to her covering up her police state dictatorship ambitions.
Bernie and wife are petty criminals by comparison but I don't think the US would elect a guy you couldn't pick out in a lineup of Occupy Wall Street and is a straight up socialist.
There is no doubt that Sanders would now be president had he been the Democrats nominee as elected. Sanders was the only candidate that consistently beat Trump hands down in every poll even in the primaries.
I have people in my Family who have voted Democrat since FDR and many of them voted third party rather than vote for Hillary. The Democrat rank and file voter wanted Sanders and the fact that they fixed the Primary (The Dems) alienated enough life long Democrats that they lost the election. They shoved a shit candidate up the Democrats asses and they didn't vote for her. Millions of people who could not vote for HRC voted third party or for Trump.

My only hope is that the portion of that group now making checks will see the amount the government takes out and realize the cost of "free" and vote accordingly.
Nothing will get better in this country until we unplug the money from government and do away with political parties in their entirety along with single term limits, no re-election. Exams for public office. Publicly funded elections that eliminate outside money and stop the ever increasing cost of these never ending clownshows we currently call elections. Holding them accountable for all corruption and crimes, requiring them to live on the salary we pay them, which is more than adequate; all these measures would pretty much "clean out the swamp" overnight.

The longer we keep Democrats and Republicans as the two/only standing parties (who are both owned and operated by a Global Oligarchy of the wealthiest and most powerful pricks in the world) we will get what we have been getting. I'm amazed it has gone on as long as it has. No....not really. 1/2 the people in America don't vote because they are convinced it's useless/hopeless and I am beginning to agree.
It's almost time to just start over again but I don't have any idea how to do that before it gets so bad that we end up with a "French Revolution" style of event and a lot of folks get hurt. Never. Seems we are "owned" as of this moment. There will never be a real investigation of any powerful standing member of the US Government. They all work for the same guys. All of "them" are on the same team.
