Hello all from the SC Lowcountry,
I'm active duty USCG, was a Precision Marksman at MSRT from 2007-2012.
I try to stay current on trends, gear, and of course my own skills. I shoot a Desert Tech SRS-A1 in .260 Rem, a .308 Armalite AR-10 that I built with mostly JP Enterprises parts, and an LMT Defender 2000 with 5.56, 6.8SPC and 300BLK options. I run a SAS REAPER .30 cal titanium can for most calibers. For glass, I have an IOR Valdada 3-18x42mm that does pretty well. I put an ADM mount on it so I can use it on all my guns. My gun budget is a trickle since I got married and had kids, so I have to make everything do double duty when I can. I shoot handloads exclusively except a few boxes of factory ammo that I still have laying around.
I just finished Bryan Litz's Accuracy and Precision for Long Range Shooting, fantastic read.
I signed up on the forum a while back, but haven't been active. I'd like to possibly shoot a competition soon.
I look forward to getting plugged in here.
