Rifle Scopes NF ATACR 4-16 vs 5-25

I now own both the 4-16x50 F1 and 5-25x56, the 4-16 seems noticably clearer is that the norm? If so can someone explain why that would be?

Both are great, but I never noticed any appreciable difference in glass between the ones I've seen. I think the 7-35 is a hair better than the other 2, but none are significantly different than the others.
