Gunsmithing Orange Vise/Area419 Collab

It's unknown if we will ever have the vises here again. Originally they were VERY interested in working with us as a reseller - then we were able to very successfully market the product, and demand became MUCH more than it had ever been for them, and they started to crank up the price, demand larger and larger orders, and thin our margins, ultimately making asks that just weren't appropriate for us as a business. I would love to still have these to sell, even with an increased price, but I'm not sure that's going to happen any time soon.

The upside of working with other smaller companies on these things is we can often create a situation where we win, they win, AND the customer wins with cool things becoming available. The downside is situations like these.
How short sighted of them.

Appreciate your response. How do you decide what new products to design or make?
Short version - How good is the idea/execution, what does the opportunity look like (market size, profitability, etc), how does it fit the line and move the brand forward, how much effort will it take, and what does our capacity look like.

We have a PILE of ideas on a board at any given time, so when looking at these metrics, some are much more or less attractive than others.
