I've used this format for years both in and out of the military (now in LE) with great results, including overseas on deployments in some remote and austere locations. It's a good basic structure and allows for deviations to adapt to where you're at physically and to keep things interesting. I also use a lot of more creative weights (sledge hammer, ammo can with gravel, kettle bells, sandbags, basketball with gravel, tire, etc.) to spice things up.
I prefer a basic and vague structure to PT programs which are not location or equipment dependent. Figure I'd share in case anyone is looking for something new or different.
