So my little DD Buell Blast finally after four different repairs, shot it's Vance & Hines SS2R guts out for good somewhere on Hwy 24 between Nashville and Home.
Now I for quite a few of my past enduro's, super moto, and dirt bikes, I always bought Supertrapp's 3" dis kitted muffler bodies. These were made to simply clamp onto the existing center or head pipe. They all came as a muffler body, fully assembled with a complete set of discs, retaining nut, tension spring, and core pipe. Of the six that I bought, two had to be assembled, but as a muffler body they were complete.
With that said, I jumped on a $77 3" muffler body from Motorcycle Superstores. The photo showed what I expected, a completely kitted muffler body, complete with discs, tension spring, and nut on the end along with a hose clamp to attach it to the center pipe or in my case, the tuned 22" head pipe.
What did I receive in the box?
AN EMPTY DAMNED SHELL WITH NO GUTS!
These fucktards at MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE show a complete muffler body, describe a full muffler body, and send a hollow fucking can with no motherfucking guts inside of it! The tech on the chat service even told me what I would receive was what was in the photo

At no time, ever, in my past have I received a fucking empty shell when I ordered a Supertrapp Muffler body from a shop locally. And yes, I paid less than $100 each time too.
FUCK MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE!

Rant off. Ah, I feel much better now that I have let the small part of my world know about these fucktards and the way they do business.

My current mission, between doing school work for the next 'til I get tired of it' will be to insure I do everything possible to remove any business I can from Motorcycle Superstore and direct people elsewhere.

Well, things do work out fairly well in the end. A call to Supertrapp netted me two locations to purchase what I needed WITH a nice discount. Upon checking each, they were sadly out of stock, but I was then directed to another source. I am now waiting for the Core Kit from another seller who along with a clearance discount, also gave me a discount for 'being stupid enough to buy from Motorcycle Superstore'! I can live with all of this if it means finding a business that will treat me well, and will consider what I tell them. Supertrapp rep said as long as the parts are available, they will continue to support the 3M cans too. I figure a thick coating of antisieze on the through bolt and nut will be fine, and a fabbed bracket for the end to mount under teh little bike will prevent any loss, although the big head pipe clamp and Permatex seem to have that issue well under control

Hmmm, can't say I've had the bad like with moto superstore, but then I've only ever bought simple stuff like windscreens (which I have broken all too many of). Thanks for the heads up in case I start looking around for things like suspension upgrades and the next set of kit for the race bike.
