Maybe not. Put an S&B PMII 5-25x56 on a G A P bolt gun and the rifle will cost more then the glass.

I've only gotten to put 41 rounds through it so far, but my last 5 shots I made I tried to get a good group took my time and shot a 5 shot group with LC 173gr match and it could be covered with a nickel. The SWFA SS line has by far exceded my expectations although they are fixed power it doesn't bother me as I am not engaging targets closer than 100yds. The SS scopes are tough, have great and pretty darn precise turrets and reticles as I use the mil dots to find the distance to my targets and hit them.
