I seem to remember some time back, one of the U.S. rifle manufacturers advertised "button rifling". If I my memory serves correctly they pulled a "button" through the bore to rifle the barrel. Does anybody know if this was the advent of the 5r rifling we see today? Just sitting here thinking about guns again. Thanks
