Didn’t the dude say they “owned” the factory? And come to find out it’s just another OEM?
Arken pt II and Athlon PT III.
You get what you pay for in life... Go Tier 1 or go home. If you can't afford a Tier 1 scope, save and watch for good deals in our PX section. HUGE SAVINGS TO BE HAD> and to ALL the guys thinking these CHEAP scopes can hang? Please post a video of the scope going through a Nightforce test.
Quality is everything in the long run! There are good scopes to be had in that price range. I really don't follow ALL these new pop up companies and who know if they will be around come next year? A warranty only works if the company is still in business? This right here. This is an elitist hobby and we should keep it that way. Hell, I won’t even shoot with a guy unless he has $5K tied up in his rig, preferably closer to $8K. Let the riff-raff with their sub $1K glass and factory rifles find another hobby.
You're an idiot if you think that @The King is talking about a full blown military conflict between them and us.I'm not worried about that China global domination Bull.
Are there any $500 scopes made in USA?
Buddly nearly tipped all of the Hide on its ear.
But really the guy seems very unprofessional and I've heard similar "I'll make it big" stories from all sorts of trailer trash. Sure you've gotta create hype but telling everyone it's the greatest thing since Tupperware doest do it any good.... ship a few out to T-Rex!
I do think there is somewhat of a reset going on in mid-high end scopes. But haven't seen any major brands on their ears...
Made in China....get what you pay for!The cant on that scope is backwards
She’s yummy!Mmmmm....Kirsten Joy
I’m not apposed to another company marketing scopes, but the “Game Changer” and “turn the industry on its ear” talk just screams snake oil.
to those lurking, read this. We see through the bs. Just let your product stand on its own merit. Don’t be a blow hard. The market will refuse it.
Show us proof that NF is made in China? Please don't copy and paste a knock off from Ebay.that's funny since nf glass is also made in japan and china same as 80% of all the glass out there athalon , Bushnell, vortex , and many others so are they trash as well ? Ferrari made cars that broke don't mean It's all bad or all good you just hope they stand beside there product and make It right if something is wrong . And as far as I can see companies like vortex do and a few others do. I just hope swamp fox is another that does cause my 22 is getting one soon .
I believe it really just matters where they source most of the materials for the specific product. I think with NF they can be marked either made in japan or made in america, as I said, it's dependent on where the main materials were sourced from. NF has been working with the premier Japanese firm since their earliest days.Show us proof that NF is made in China? Please don't copy and paste a knock off from Ebay.
I bought a 6-24 Patriot specifically to run Base class for NRL22. Its MSRP combined with a CZ 457 Pro Varmint hit below the price threshold.
Scope is what it is- a copy of a Vortex Diamondback tactical. Mushy turrets, no zero stop, and just usable glass. Shooting NRL22 with it is doable as our COF is almost always 100 yards and under (we do occasionally add 200-300 yards stages). I do like the included throw lever for the power ring.
Reputation and warranty in consideration I'd have rather had a Diamondback Tactical, but the MSRP puts it just over the threshold for this set up. Wish manufacturers would stop inflating their MSRP 10-20% over their MAP pricing.

There is a HUGE difference between an American manufacturer legitimately sourcing some components from suppliers who are better than they at that particular competency and buying a 100% Chinese product which is mostly a theft of others IP and/or profits/taxes on it go on to finance a government who sees nothing wrong with wholesale industrial espionage and IP theft.@BCX
Not trying to start an argument, but what scopes do you run that are 100% made in America?
To my knowledge (which honestly isn’t much lol) there is no scope that’s 100% American.
Even the new XBR III has parts from other countries.
Honest question. Thanks
I just started looking at the 1-10x24 Arrowhead and 5-30x56 Kentucky Long. It is too early to be sure, but so far so good.

Buy what you can afford. But at least buy American.
You tube videos of the swampfox optics appear to be touting the scopes. Looks like someone's going to have to take the leap and get one
And do some testing.
@koshkin any update on the Kentucky Long?
I would love to hear your thoughts on these vs medium end scopes such as the Brownells MPO. I guess I’m looking to see if it’s worth even looking at lower priced scopes. Thanks in advance. It seems like a pretty decent scope, but I have not spent a ton of time with it. It is next on the list though.
I have spent quite a bit more time with the 1-10x24 Arrowhead and like it quite a bit. It is very nice for the money and Kentucky Long seems to be quite good too given the price.
