I've got three SS 5-20X50 HDs. A few months ago I ordered a couple of sunshades and three of the parallax grippers. The sunshades showed up in about a week but no parallax grippers. I called SWFA and was told they were on back-order and I would be notified when they came in. I asked about timeline and was told it usually takes a couple of weeks. Still no word a couple of weeks later so I call again. This time I get Skylar in Tech. Support. When I tell him my problem I don't get "let me transfer you to customer service". Instead he says "I know the guy who makes them I'll call him and call you back" and that's exactly what he did.

I know you guys waiting on stocks, scopes and complete builds are thinking what's the big deal? That is exactly why it's a big deal. It was a big deal only to me but Skylar treated it like it was a big deal for SWFA. He talked to the manufacturer, took my calls, recontacted the manufacturer, emailed me, called me and stayed with it until the order was filled. That friends is customer service. Thanks Skylar

I too have had very good experiences talking to Skylar. The industry as a whole could use a lot more Skylars. Lots of other industries as well, for that matter.

I don't have his name anymore (my bad, I should) but another guy at SWFA was also really excellent in helping me with some issues. Maybe they understand how to build a proper corporate culture there, IDK.

First time replying but I just ordered an optic from swfa while deployed. Half way through the ordering process (I had called because my online attempt wouldn’t go through, turned out to be my address wasn’t updated with usaa) while on a three way call with usaa (yes he called usaa to find out why it wouldn’t go through) I had an idf drill. I had to go but when I called back everything was finished up and a to be loved optic (straight 10 ss) was on its way. His name was Brad I’m pretty sure and he was awesome, stoked to see others are having similar experiences
