Create a channel Learn moreBedlam said:1.) it takes me 4 clicks just to see the list containing the 1-6 or 5-20 from the front page (and I have to have a priori knowledge of that they are MRAD scopes). That was an easy one. Same goes for many other examples in which you need to know the product line in which they fall into in advance. Bushnell and Leupold highlight this much more painfully. The VX-3 line has 8 pages on its own to go through.
2.) if I want to drill down, search, or filter things, there is no straightforward way to do this. e.g. try searching for "zero stop" then filtering for only illuminated reticles and 34 mm tubes. No mechanism to do so. search for all the terms at once "zero stop 34mm illuminated". No hits. I guess SWFA doesn't sell what I'm after (hint, you do...) and no, google site search isn't an adequate patch here, especially due to forum results.
3.) select 2-3 scopes and compare features side by side? notably absent.
The website is fine if you already know exactly what you're after, but if you want to find the products sold by SWFA that meet your criteria in a brand agnostic manner it is a time consuming process. I think you have an opportunity to make shopping even easier and beat the pants off your competitors. You already have a price guarantee, and reputedly very good CS. If you made your site the go to source for comparison shopping as well I'd never even bother to look anywhere else (well, except maybe to get a price match - if I even cared).
Congratulations, this ad campaign worked. You've won me (and probably many others) as a customer, but you could have had me a long time ago too. </div></div>
^^^ this is exactly why I tend to shy away from shopping at SWFA. I have bought glass from them before when I knew what I was looking for. But when I want to compare items that meet specific criteria, I can't and go elsewhere.

Do you realize what FB is, and what they do?
