I've got a new scope on order and I'm trying to determine the optimal ring height for it, so I can have them on hand when it comes in. I've got all the measurements I need off the rifle and I know the outer dimension of the scope's bell... but the wildcard is the front scope cover.
I'll be using a Schmidt Bender scope with a 50mm objective lens... so the outer diameter of the bell is 57mm. I will be running Tenaebrex flip-up covers front and rear, but I do not know their dimensions.
Does anyone know the outside diameter for the Tenebraex covers that will fit this scope? I've got to imagine that a few of you out there are running a S-B 50mm scope with the same covers. If anyone can hook me up with their outside diameter, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Punter
