They've got the whole place mic'd up, and the idiot grins and superficial laughter were booming through the Rotunda, off the walls, and into the streaming audio. So much for fucking decorum.

I'm not religious at all... I generally leave smoking-cloven hoofprints on hallowed-ground.

But I saw Billy Graham as an evangelist for America. For American values, American ideals and the type of boot-straps pull-yourself up by believing that "I can" spirit that made America great. You want to call it religion... yes, it was. But I always saw it as a crusade for America.

He was an amazing man. In an era of scumbag TV evangelists who had gold-plated faucets and were porking choir boys and office interns... Graham led a life of honor.

That people were 'cutting up' at his viewing in the rotunda... sad. Pathetic. And just what I'd expect from a bunch of political dirt-weasels.

In memoriam.

They have no honor or respect, not even for eachother. It seems they would out their own mothers to further their agenda.

You spend too much time in the swamp, you begin to look like the "swamp thing".

If Steve Irwin hadn't died we could have elected him as president. He had a lot of experience with wrestling creatures from the swamp.

It was a ceremony and opportunity to show respect to a great American. I, for one, am not at all surprised that there were some in attendance that could/would not. Wish I could feel differently, but when it comes to swamp creatures, it has become very apparent as to what their agenda is. And, it is not in this Country's best interests.

Sad, but unfortunately, no longer surprising......

wish I could say that I was surprised by the actions of many at the funeral, but I am not. Respect is a thing of the past for so many not just in our Country but around the world. Sad day for sure.

I leave burnt spots in hallowed ground as well, but like yourself had a great deal of respect for Revernd Graham. Kept it simple and direct and honorable.

Billy's home followed by Joel Osteen's home. Hmmmmmmm
