I received this barrel in a trade and was told it was possibly for a FN SPR. It is 24" in length, marked .308 on one side, and marked Rapid City SD on the other. It is fluted and is threaded with a thread protector. I was told that it was fired, but not many rounds. Visual inspection confirms this, but I can't guarantee that. I have no use for this. Is there any value for this barrel? How would I gather more information on this to confirm some more information. I can take pictures if that would help. It is currently kryloned, but I believe I could clean that off.

Inspection of the throat and first few inches of the rifling with a borescope can give a better idea of the condition of the barrel but won't tell you anything about how well it shoots.
If it's in decent condition it should be worth at least $150, I would think.
