It doesn't appear with the pics that those .2 mil dots are much worth a shit, I need to peep through one of these... I know these through the scope pics can be deceptive.

They really aren't, they are a touch too fine. You can see them, but they are hard to pick up really quickly and against dark backgrounds.

I got to fondle one this weekend at the Oklahoma match, no need to wait on anybody's review, I think there as good as any and I will own one soon...now if i can just get somebody to throw in the rings for free

I hate that TMR style open center. If they closed that up it wouldn't be a bad reticle design.

Really? I love the open center, it's just barely open, it doesn't look to be as dramatic as the TMR open center... </div></div>

I really like it too, seemed just perfect for 1cm x 1cm sight in bulls-eye. I like how I can frame a very distant target or a small target in the opening.

I tried a TMR and couldn't get used to it. Too distracting for me. I like being able to quarter the target with the intersecting lines. Just me though.

I know what you mean Rob, I just look at it differently, the only scope I didn't want some sort of window like the Razor's aiming point was the NF stuff as the reticles are so fine

I think preferences will be the main gripe/complaint about this scope. Maybe in the future they will have a couple more reticle options. I know what you

I hope these scopes hold up better than there Binos. Brand new pair went south the second day of a ten day hunt! 3 hours back in the woods, Three hours from any retail = Shit out of Luck!

The eye focus just went south. Glassing for 8 hours a day through on side sucks!

They say they have a great warranty, but so dose Leupold, That’s why I stopped buying there stuff. I do not want to use a Customer service department. I guess they are good because they get a lot of practice.

For the money they want for one of these scopes, Heck it will be NF all day. I know my NF still holds zero and I can still use it when it counts. Unproven and a failure the first hunt, NOT GOOD.

Sorry if its in the wrong place, but saw this thread pop up after unpacking my hunting pack! Still pissed to say the least!

Does Leupold even post here? and i bet you wouldnt get to talk to someone able to make a decision like the one above...Just say'n..

I had a pair of Steiner bino's break in Alaska on a 2 week hunt. Didn't survive the 10hr Argo ride into camp. They were around 800$ And they went in the trash...

None of us want our customers to use our customer service, but in the rare chance you needed to...

Im excited to see what this scope has to offer!!

Sorry to bust your bubble, but a guy I shoot with won't wipe his ass with a NF b/c of past problems with his NF scope. Every product experiences problems, none are infallible... Good CS does not always reflect "a lot of practice", sometimes the companies just strive to do right.

The only dealing that I have had with a Vortex was an 8X32X50 on my 10/22 glass was ok for the price. I put 100 or so rounds down the tube and I lost my zero. Then I noticed that my cross hairs were canted. I torqued everything to spec I thought maybe I did not tighten correctly. Pulled the scope off, reinstalled it. Shot another 10 rounds turned again. Loaded another 10 rounds and watched the cross hairs turn inside the scope with each round fired. It did get replaced no questions asked. I know that I am comparing a $220.00 scope to a $2000.00 the only point of this is, the 8X32 was a new product I hope the Razor has all the bugs worked out. For the recorded I have about 1500 rounds with the new scope and have not had any problems with it. FWIW

I had mushy click issues with my Heritage. It's one of the first 200. they're finally fixed and I love my scope.

I wish I had held out for the razor. I LOVE the reticle!! hopefully it'll be offered in other scopes (hint, hint Sam)

I'm waiting to hear more about the 1-4x Razor as it'll be perfect for an upcoming AR build.

I've had a Viper 6.5-20x44. It was a great optic. I sold it to fund the Heritage. I'll definitely own more Vortex stuff.

If Vortex would make a 4-14x44 FFP Viper with their new reticle and Mil adjustments in the $900-$1100 range, I bet you would OWN the mid priced tactical optics market

Tomorrow is D-Day, I have all the other video shot for the review, and tomorrow the Razor hits the deck... so I will have the complete video after...

I actually wanted to use it first before launching it, just in case it didn't survive I wanted to be able to say I at least shot it and so far I have about 200 rounds under it.

OK, here's a question for the group. Would this be a worthy $700 upgrade from a 5-22x50 NF NXS NPR1 with zero stop on a 7mm Rem Mag? I really like this reticle and the FFP feature but am on the edge of whether or not it would be worth it.

The knobs on the NXS are too rough kept getting road rash type chaffing, wasn't pretty. I am not risking getting any "funk" on the Razor and don't wanna chance gumming up the mechanicals
