So I have an Anschutz barrel blank on the way and have plans to install it on a 455. Planning on running an Anschutz chamber in it as well. Anybody have any advice on doing this kind of thing? I know Chad from LongRifles has done one and right now it's kind of a toss up between doing it myself or sending it on quick trip to SD. If you do chime in Mr. Dixon I'd love to know what you'd charge me to chamber, do all the machining on chamber end and thread the muzzle 1/2-28.
So has anybody else got any tips? I know I'll need a slot cutter as well as 90 degree cutter. Any info on sizes or brands would be extremely helpful. Planning on doing this on a 4th axis CNC mill. Might even try to throw some flutes on it while I'm doing this! I appreciate the help!
