LOL, I stumbled on this yesterday. Dan Vasc, a Brazilian citizen, sang the U.S. national anthem a few years ago and caught some flak.

New ELEY Ultra Extreme Long Range Round incoming

It's that time more more long range for PRS hotness. Seems like it's supposed to be an alternative to Tenex. Different color also back to a round nose instead of the nipple top. Supposedly shipping out late spring/early summer.

To add, looks like Creedmoor Sports already has a placeholder listing up. $18.55 is a little more then black box Match and definitely less than Tenex.

muzzle brake help

I'm building a rifle off a craddock RTR 22" 6.5 creed barrel. Per staff, it's 0.870" at the muzzle. So I'm looking at brakes that are near that diameter within maybe 20 thou or so.

I'm currently looking at the seekins ATC and the Precision Armament Hypertap slim(0.900" 4 port

Anyone have any experience and if so which do you prefer and why? Also any other brakes better than these for a gasser?

Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro why or why not?

Hello All, I am finally trying to get into bolt action rifles and the Delta 5 pro has caught my eye. I have been doing some reading and researching (found a few posts on this website) and it seems like there are a lot of people who are not a fan of the rifle. Seemingly it was an older version of the gun in some of the reviews I've read and not the newer "Pro" model, although I did find some people who didn't care for the newer one either. Some people didn't like the way the bolt manipulated, some didn't like the barrel was CHF (although if it shoots well who cares how it's made), etc. The one I'm looking at is the 20 inch .308 Hpalma it seems like it would be a nice gun and I own other DD rifles and they have always bent over backwards to help me out so I like the company, I just don't want to purchase something if it has some big glaring issues. Thoughts from those who have used them?

KRG Bravo Gen 2? First Impressions

So I'll have to admit I had no idea there had been an update to the KRG bravo until I just received one I ordered today and noticed it was different. Not sure if this is old news but I couldn't find much info when I googled to find out when the update happened.

I ordered a KRG Bravo on Monday, and it delivered today when I pulled it out I noticed it was slightly different than a previous KRG Bravo I had a few years ago.(I no longer have that one to do a direct comparison). The main difference is some molded in brass threaded inserts in the forend which is a welcome improvement. I remember being annoyed at having to take the forend off and attach the KRG Arca rail with a bunch of nuts on the original version. Now you can just bolt it on using the provided button head cap screws and the threaded inserts which is much better. There are also M-LOK attachments the full length of the forend which I don't think the original version had. The one part I don't like about the new version is the slightly raised portion just below the action with three threaded inserts. I would rather have this area flat and flush to the rest of the stock. Not sure what accessory is supposed to mount there.

I also ordered a minimalist spigot mount with it since my main complaint from my first one several years ago is that I couldn't get the bipod far enough forward. I do like the minimalist spigot but unfortunately you do have to remove the forend/hand guard to mount it. At first I thought it was longer than it needed to be but when I put a sling swivel stud in the front threaded hole and mounted a Haris bipod with a pod lock I noticed it positioned the bipod just far enough forward for the pod lock to clear the front of the stock which is necessary since the spigot mount is recessed/higher than the rest of the stock. I think this is a well thought out and intentional dimension that I wouldn't have thought of before mounting the bipod.

Thoughts on room for improvement:
-A way to mount the spigot mount without having to remove the forend/hand guard
-Incorporate a thumb rest molded into the back portion of the stock.
-It's a little heavier than I expected. It's 3 lbs 3 oz naked(Rem 700 SA version), 3 lbs 11 oz once you add the Arca and minimalist spigot.
-PS. I think one of the spigot mount options is almost necessary with this stock to get the bipod far enough forward. There isn't enough room to rest it on a bag on a barricade with a bipod mounted without using a spigot mount.

Here are a few pictures of it including some with it next to a Manners T4A and TCS for perspective/scale

Bud Light Boycott Cost Tranheuser-Busch $1.4 Billion!!

Dylan Mulvaney at the Red Carpet for the 2023 Outfest Opening Night Gala at the Orpheum Th
Images, AP Photo/

Tranheuser-Busch claimed it earned record revenues in 2023 but admitted its “full growth potential was constrained” in the U.S. due to a boycott after Bud Light signed transvestite Dylan Mulvaney as a sponsor.
Yeah, “constrained” by $1.4 BILLION.
More:
In North America, organic revenue, seen as the best measure of operating performance, plunged $1.4 billion last year as beer sales by volume tumbled in the region, primarily due to a decline in Bud Light sales in the United States. Beer makes up the lion’s share of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s revenue.
Bud Light sales tanked after the company’s partnership with Mulvaney last April sparked an anti-trans backlash and calls for a boycott. A tepid response to the controversy from the company also angered LGBTQ+ advocates.
“In the U.S., performance remains very underwhelming with revenue down at double-digit rates as the group lost market share,” Aarin Chiekrie, an equity analyst, told CNNLOL.
After two decades of being America’s top beer brand, Bud Light lost the crown to Modelo Especial, a Mexican lager. Gee, I guess all those immigrant-hating, MAGA-bigoted beer drinkers forgot to be bigoted.
Bud Light made the same mistake the entertainment industry is still making — targeting its product at people who have no interest in its product at the expense of loyal fans. Bud Light puts a freak in a dress drinking Bud Light as though there are enough untapped freaks in dresses to increase its market share even after all the normal people walk away disgusted with the normalization of mental illness.

Ask Sports Illustrated how betraying its base with freaks in dresses and swimsuits panned out. Oh, you can’t. Sports Illustrated is dead.

This is no different than the Disney Grooming Syndicate feminizing Star Wars and queering its children’s content. Whatever market share you gain with female gym teachers and child predators will not come close to the loyal fans among normal people you lose.

Bud Light has since tried to win its old customers back with a new advertising campaign aimed at guy-guys. The brand also signed non-woke comedian Shane Gillis as a spokesman. But what Bud Light and Tranheuser-Busch have not done is apologize or admit to making a mistake.

My disdain for boycotts aside, if Bud Light wants its former customers to forgive and forget, Bud Light must take the first step with an apology. Until then, all of these Middle America ads filled with pickup trucks, American flags, and stallions just come off as patronizing — as if that’s all that’s needed to win us rubes over.

If you want normal people for customers, don’t make a weird guy in a dress the face of your company. Normal people cannot relate to transvestites. They creep us out. Plus, you can’t drink a Bud Light anymore without someone making a joke about how you’re going to turn gay. Of course, it’s wrong to make jokes like that. I would never condone that behavior. I mean, I do laugh at the jokes, but I feel bad about it afterward. Sometimes. Okay, never.

HILARIOUS!!! THAT'S 1.4 BILLION DOLLARS! $1,400,000,000!!!!

Crazy anti-Veteran Law

The fact of the matter is that some people are a danger to themselves and others when they're suffering from mental health problems, and they probably should not keep a firearm handy. That said, this is the most ham fisted, ridiculous, counterproductive thing I can think of. This is just another way for our enemies in Congress to shit on veterans even more than they already do.

If I was a veteran and needed mental health help this would completely prevent me from seeking it AT ALL. I wouldn't go near the VA or government affiliated office if it put my guns and rights at risk. Not that this would withstand ANY constitutional scrutiny, but those evil fuckers will pass it anyway. True fifth column shit.

You make the call: Is my 6mm ARC bolt action a ½-inch gun with factory ammo?

I’d like to think it is, although with an “on average” caveat.

I might be wrong, but I define a ½-inch gun as averaging ½-inch groups at 100 yards. I tend to shoot 3-shot groups because my POA and POI are the same and shots on top of each other can hide the exact POA. That makes it difficult to be precise.

Below is my whole 11x17 target sheet from two weeks ago. The yellow centers on the waterline targets are ¼-inch. On it there are 26 shots total, all in separate 3-inch groups except for the last group which was 5-shots. All shot from the bench with my SEB front rest.

Also, the distance to the target is important to mention. In my case my target distance was 106 yards, not 100. Those extra 6 yards make a difference in dispersion as shown on my calculations at the bottom of the target sheet. The best way to even that out is to convert the results to 100 yards after measuring all the targets.

I also made POA adjustments as I shot the groups. For example, my cold bore group (the single large target at the bottom of the sheet) was quite high – a WTF moment. I looked at my scope and realized I left my scope set .2 mils high from my previous outing . Shooting the waterline targets I used different holds for adjustments smaller than .1 MIL.

I calculated two aggregates – one with and one without the last 5-shot group. I had three groups larger than a 1/2-inch - The second group (first group on the top waterline) was .68”. The sixth group was .6, the other one was the 5-shot group, coincidentally also .68 inches.

The average of all the groups was .455 inches. Converting to 100 for apples to apples at 100 yards, all the groups averaged .429 inches. (100/106 x .455). Without the 5-shot group, the group averages dropped from .42 to .396 inches - numbers at the bottom right hand corner.

If anyone is interested, I’ve attached a PDF of that target sheet, of course with no holes in it.
