Rifle Scopes Anyone have a ZCO 420 Tremor 3?

I’ve google searches and it doesn’t really bring up anything. Does anyone have one?

How visible is the reticle at 4x? I don’t expect to see .2 hash marks well defined, but is the reticle usable for an aiming point without searching for it?

How is it in low light? What mag do you need to run it at to be visible the last few minutes of legal shooting light?

Does anyone in the Tampa area have a ZCO420 with any flavor reticle I could fondle in exchange for a burger and a beer?

M40A5 Surefire MB762SSAL/RE Gunbroker purchase has two notches cut out, said to be from the military armory as a removal aid???

Sorry for such a screwed-up question, but I purchased a used, vintage Surefire MB762SSAL/RE muzzle brake from a seller on Gunbroker for an M40A5 build and when I received it, I found 2 cut marks on the back of the muzzle brake that look fresh. They are not in the photos in the listing. So when I contacted the seller, he said they were put there by the armorers for the aiding of removal with a spanner wrench in case they got stuck from carbon build-up. What do you all think? I have never seen this in any of my research of M40A5 rifles before collecting the parts for my build. I chose this over the other new ones on G.B. because it was an early version before the patent number when it was marked "Patent Pending". That's why I chose his listing. And this is what I got. Any help would be appreciated. If this he is correct, I'll keep it. But if this is someone's mistake, I'll send it back. Thanks for your input!!

Massive protests on Capitol Hill as demonstrators demand Gaza ceasefire

Dozens of protesters took to the streets near the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday to call for ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip worsens.

Footage from inside the Cannon Office Building shows a large group chanting “Ceasefire Now” and calling for Congress to demand the fighting stop in Israel.

The group Jewish Voice for Peace said some demonstrators had been arrested inside the U.S. Capitol building.

“We're all here to demand an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people, aided and abetted by the U.S. government,” the group wrote on X, formally Twitter.

Pops to the guy for ducking out. It would have been even more epic to drop the cash for the drinks then dip out.

Democrats giving their all to bring racism back

Democrats put diversity, equity, and inclusion programs into play to fight past racism with brand spanking new racism and it looks like their efforts have paid off handsomely. 1 in 6 (16%) of the hiring managers in the survey referenced below have been explicitly told not to hire white men and 52% of them believe that their companies practice reverse racism. But remember folks, white supremacy is the greatest threat facing America today...

If you've been scammed by Scott Berish Liberty Optics

If you believe Scott has scammed you, you can call Flathead County Sheriffs Office at 406-758-5610 and file a police report. You can do it by phone and it will be assigned to a deputy to investigate.

Here is the the best info available for filing the report which is listed on the business:

Scott Joseph Barish
Liberty Optics LLC
Montana License # C1240018

Premises address:

SCOTT BERISH
74 E NICKLAUS AVE
KALISPELL, MT 59901-5990

Mailing Address:

PO BOX 1713
KALISPELL, MT 59903

The premises address may be incorrect but it's what is listed on the states website from his documentation. That address doesn't come back to him on anything I've been able to pull up but the SO will be able to track him down via the PO Box however since a valid government ID is required for opening one.

You will need a statement as well as proof of payment. If you have communication from Vortex or another manufacturer or distributor confirming that your order was not placed with them you will want to include that as well. This can be done via email or mail. Include as much information as you can. Screen shots from his sale thread around and after the time your order was placed will also be beneficial to include in your report.

I'm not an attorney and this is not legal advice, but filing a false police report is a crime and everyone should keep that in mind. You should only file a report if:

A. You have paid Scott, those funds have been debited from your account and you have not received your order and there is no record of your order with the distributor.

B. You have paid Scott, those funds have been debited from your account and you have not received your order and there is an order in with the distributor but they have confirmed it will not be shipped out due to lack of payment from Liberty Optics.

You should also file a charge back with your credit card company even if you believe it's beyond the timeline to do so.

The contact information for the contact at Vortex handling the matter on their end is Shamus Terry [email protected] 608-335-4486. This is where you can find the status of your order or if there's an order.

If Burris, Leupold, Sig or any others are involved in his mess if anyone would like to provide the contact information for them (with their permission) I can add it to this post.

I hope this helps and that everyone can recover their losses but my guess is there's going to be some folks taking hits on this.

Solid trigger for all round use

So I’m finishing up an A.R. 15 build, just need to get a few more parts. Debating on which trigger I want to use. This is going to be more or less a defensive rifle but I do go to classes and I do compete in the tactical games here and there.

The primary uses going to be defensive use though. For that purpose, which direction would most of y’all go for triggers?

I know the majority like Geissele and the number one trigger on my list is the SSP. But I like having options so that I’m not cornered into a single choice. Other ones on my list are the Triggertech duty 3.5lbs flat shoe. But I know some say other TT AR triggers have a super soft reset. Another is the Larue MBT-2S with JP springs.

Only other AR trigger I’ve used is an SSA, some experience is limited.
