But I’m having trouble when trying to use the bolt catch. Seems like bolt doesn’t travel far enough back that I have to use the CH and it seems like the bolt covers the first round. And then first round struggles to go into battery. I’m using lancer mags and when I’m shooting hand loads or fgmm

I purchased scope new this year and fired maybe 50 rounds under it. Shot out to 1100yds with no issues. Vpr mil reticle, arken low rings, throw lever, box papers.etc..... Asking $475 standard shipping pp ff, venmo,zelle.

Getting ready to order a barrel from Craddock Precision and just wanted to see if there is any options you would change if your goal was a first round capable 600 yard AR15. December 17 I purchased a KRG whiskey 3 from LivingBrit $1000. I understood with Christmas coming around the corner there be some sort of delay. Being impatient I asked when he could send it out and that would pay extra $100 to do overnight which he agreed to and would get it out 12/27/2023. I didn’t think suspicious because he tagged the item I was wanting with his SH username and date at the time I was going to purchase. Me being a dummy and inexperienced I paid PayPal FF for the initial purchase then cashapp for the extra shipping. He gave me an excuse that his PayPal was locked. I requested a refund on the $100 on cashapp but was declined and now his user is banned and doesn’t exist. Please be cautious out there. If you know the person sorry to bash your boy. Gravity Ballistics Worksheet

I need an LRF. I'm buying a 6 or 6.5 at some point so I guess I need it to go to 1500yd or so.

I'm careful with my equipment but it will get dropped at some point.

I'd prefer something not made in China.

I don't yet have a ballistics app or Kestrel and I know nothing about the technology integration options. (Am dumb.)

What should I be looking at?

I see garmin voids warranty if you mount the xero

Anyone have firsthand knowledge of failures of any kind ?

Well I'm mad and intrigued at the same time. I'm a die hard 308cal guy and had all intentions of dying with that caliber of old age. But on here you guys kept and kept pushing me towards 6.5 Creedmoor so I at least looked into why I shouldn't do it.

Less recoil, less powder usage, bullets are about $10 cheaper per 100.

Last leg I had to stand on was MIL and LE still use the 308 for sniper usage though. But then I found out SOCOM is wanting to go to 6.5 Creedmoor over 308 due to it being a more effective round.

So is a 308cal really just old tech that still gets it done but there are better options out there?

Does the 6.5 Creedmoor really do better at target shooting?

Is the 6.5 Creedmoor really more effective than 308 on 2 legged threats?

So I saw this movie at the Houston Film Festival in 1993. Went to see something else, but it was full so went into this one, which was basically empty. And it turned out to be an incredible movie. Sniper-theme... but a military thriller, political thriller, spy movie... It's fantastic.

The most interesting aspect is that the scenes shot right next to GHWB... are not faked or rear screen. They shot those scenes feet from the President by memorizing the lines and simply mouthing the words, dubbing in the sound later. So the Secret Service never knew they were talking about an assasination 10 feet from a sitting president. From what I heard later, the USSS crapped a litter of lizards when the film came out and they saw these scenes.

It is low budget, short and never made it into theaters. Handful of film festivals where I don't think it did great. But it was a fantastic movie at every level. Just post-Gulf War and the former Marine Sniper with the Barret steals the show in several ways. So do the arab terrorists who are too incompetent for their own good.

Now streaming and you can get on Amazon Prime or some other services.

"For Queen and Country" with Denzel Washington (very young) as a highly-decorated British Paratrooper who is mustered out of the British Army after the Falklands. Instead of getting to stay in the UK as he was promised when he enlisted from a Colonial Craphole... he is told he has to return to his Colonial Craphole and cannot remain in England or get a job. Great but tragic sniper scenes. Utterly worthy movie and a lot of themes that resonate today. Also streams... doesn't come on satellite much any more.
