How to transition from thinking in MOA to thinking in MILLs

I am going to begin participating in the NRL shoots in my area and would like to in the not to distant future also give 22lr PRS a try as well. Absolutely EVERYTHING I have read seen or heard is scopes in MILLs are used by over 90% of participants VS MOA for multiple reasons, simplicity chief among them.

I have been thinking strictly in MOA for over 30 years and would like to know if there is a methodology I can use to transition my thinking as simply and painlessly from MOA to MILLs.
As I am a complete novice when it comes to tactical scopes and have some but only minimal experience dialing for drop or wind deflection. This will also be my first endeavor into the world of tactical scopes or using the strata on the scopes reticle to make adjustments for drop and wind deflection.

My main issue is the distances to the targets in both NRL and 22lr PRS are listed in yards and if you have a scope in MILL/MILL and unless I am wrong, you will have to convert that distance into meters then figure your scope adjustments accordingly.
One other concern is I have yet to buy a scope for participating in NRL/PRS and will have to decide if it will be in MOA/MOA or MILL/MILL and need to make a choice.

If there is a good book on long range shooting that has a chapter on how a person use to MOA can transition to MILLs, please by all means someone tell me as I would gladly buy it to educate myself.

I realize there my be no other way other than to just re-learn to adjust a scope in MILLs but if anywhere on the internet would know I figured it would be here.

Appreciating the 'little things'.

I mean mayflies!.. Sitting in my deerstand last few days, watching deer, turkeys, and swarms of mayflies dancing in front of my window. This is Wisconsin in November. I'm not the greatest at identifying which species, but I believe they could be baetis(blue-winged olives), size #20 or 22. My window sits probably 16 feet above ground, but these critters seem to prefer to flutter and dance right in front of me, almost like they're trying to entertain. Need to appreciate the little things once in a while. or..often.

Precision Rifle Gear Amp annealer is ridiculously awesome

Well got to unbox and use my new amp today. Holy shit is this thing amazing. I was one of the idiots that thought the torch and the socket were “just fine” now I realize what a dumbass I was. If you think annealing is an important part of reloading then you need one. If you think it’s to much money then sell a pistol, a car he’ll even your wife! it’s totally worth it. I got it set up in auto mode and rolled through 350 pieces of 6.5 brass like it was nothing and they are absolutely perfect and so consistent. Very impressed. Now I’m looking at every piece of brass I have and getting excited. Do I go for the five gallon buckets of 5.56 brass??? Don’t see why not lol. Anyway just thought when things are worth talking about they should be. Can’t wait to play with this thing more.

Can/will 223 cycle in a long action?

So I've been dreaming of a 300 Norma or 300 PRC. I have put together a 243 with a Criterion remage barrel and it shoots fantastic. Looking to do a higher end build next, probably over the next 2 years. I have access to shoot a mile or more and there are places that go further. Shooting at KO2M would be pretty sweet, just to get to try it out. Problem is shooting it would be super expensive so really a few times a year? I am thinking swapping a bolt and spinning another barrel on and now I could shoot the hell out of it in 223 and maybe run some matches with it. Have the same stock/chassis, trigger, scope, bipod.... but shoot it for cheap and shoot it a lot. But will 223 feed in a long action? Does anybody make mags that look like a Bergara or Voodoo 2 mag that puts 223 in a long action?

Next up is a cheap US Peacekeeper drag bag, it's 54" long. The large exterior pocket has about a 6" long section at the top of the pocket where it's started to tear away from the main bag (see picture) I used to pack this thing full and tote it all over. It's a pretty rugged bag.

Glowies doing Glowie shit?

Firearms Gone

RR coded Rem 700 SA with 223 bolt face. Bought this about 1-1/2- 2 years ago and had a 350 legend barrel on it, maybe shot 150 rounds. Bolt shows blueing loss from cycling. Has NF 40moa steel base and PTG .200 recoil lug. Factory trigger, bolt handle was threaded and there is a temp knob on it that I spun up on the lathe one day. Must ship to FFL and they just accept from individual. Asking 460 shipped PP F&F, USPS MO, or FTF if close enough.

DMR SPR Optic

I am currently in the process of building a DMR/SPR rifle chambered in 6mm Arc. Current set up pictured below..
I am uncertain of what optic to go with. I am looking at either the ACTAR 4-16x42 Tremor 3 reticle and the Kahles 3-18x50 SKMR3 reticle with a SPUHR/ Badger condition one mount. I have ruled out the Leupold 3.6-18 because most people have told me it is not on the level of ACTAR and does not track as well.. I have read that Kahles are a bit more fragile and have a narrower FOV which concerns me, as this is the optics I am leaning towards. Obviously, ACTAR has the resume but it doesn't have the magnification of Kahles or Leupold. THoughts?

Specs
Geissele super duty upper/lower
Mk18 Arca handguard
JP VMOS bcg
JP silent cap spring
Geissele SSA-E trigger
Proof 18" carbon barrel with surefire socom break

SOLD SPF Bushnell DMRII 25yd parallax $750 shipped

Title says it all, good condition DMRII 3.5-21X50 with the G2 and a 25 yard parallax. Just a little rash on the turrets from normal use, 100% mechanical / tracks perfect as all Bushnell Elite Tactical scopes. I have owned at least 7 DMRs over the years and they are the most bomb proof scopes I have owned. When I was shooting a lot I kept a DMR in rings zeroed for my rifle as a backup in case my PMII went down (which happened a few times). I am selling to move to a lighter scope on this RimX.
I can get you all the pics you want, but more will be added later today.
I would consider a trade for a Sightron SIII PLR illuminated 6-24 MIL, or maybe a Vortex LHT 4.5-22 MIL (with some cash on my end)
Sold pending funds $750 shipped without the rings
