I reccently fenced, and gated my property. Gate at the main road. Semi rural area. I'd like to keep the gate closed while I'm away. Gate is controled by remote, no keypad. Fence is just 4ft black chain link.
Trying to think of a solution for deliveries when I'm not there. I've seen some people place a large, plastic "drop box" on the inside of the fence, where the driver can just drop the delivery over, and in the box.

Thoughts?

A guy I work with asked me to get this pump 22lr working, it had been disassembled years ago and came to me in pieces. He said a family member “made” the rifle. It looks like a kit or something to me, but maybe it is a production rifle. There are only two marks on the rifle total (shown in the pics): left side of the receiver and under side of the tang.

I have the rifle functioning properly now less a hammer spring, which is what I am trying to figure out now. Here is what I know about the rifle:
-pump action that has a lock on the pump link (basically a wedge that rotates out against the receiver when the action is fully closed) in conjunction with a in line bar lock on the same pump link that is unlocked when the trigger is pulled to the rear (this is inside of the receiver)
-it uses a floating firing pin that the hammer directly hits
-I am only guessing it is a 22lr as opposed to a short or something else, but it is definitely a rimfire

I am getting ready to setup a Redding Type S full length sizing die for a 300PRC. I do have (and will be using if necessary) the competition shell holders for the 300 PRC.

My question is… is it ideal to setup the die so that it free floats a bit?... or is best to setup the die so that there is a slight amount of cam over?

I have watched multiple vidoes, I have read the instructions that came with the Redding dies, and looked at multiple forums & it seems split as to whether to free float or have a slight amount of cam over on the sizing die.

We were looking at a huge Alfalfa farm in Montana, we made an offer (the sellers asking price) and were in the beginning stages of purchasing when the realtor notified us that a "chinese company" bought it for cash out from under us. They apparently paid quite a bit more than the asking price, the realtor was PISSED. He wanted us to sue them for breach of contract but they returned our earnest money so we let it go.

This is a borescope vid I shot of one of my AR barrels. The barrel is 16” in length, has a 5.56 chamber, 1-7 twist, and is chrome lined. It has ~150 rds through it. This is a factory upper from a reputable manufacturer. I’d just like some opinions on the current state of the chamber and rifling based on the low round count (150 rds). I’m not having any issues whatsoever with the rifle.

I’m not sure if it’s even possible to justify why a department which in the past has been exclusively a agency that deals with regulatory issues would need this many firearms, it’s fairly obvious the government intends to arm itself in every instance while disarming it’s citizens. Rather ironic considering the mantra “you don’t need a ar”, but evidently people that have no official government use for them do.

Since @wade2big seems to think that our form of government is oppressive and tyrannical but never seems to put forth a coherent vision of what an acceptable form of governance is, this thread is an open invitation for him to describe/design what kind of government would be acceptable to him.

Found a tacops Delta 51 rifle that I’m extremely interested in. It’s chambered in 6.5cm and has a 20” barrel. My gun range is 600m and I will be running a 9” suppressor at all times. What am I giving up with the 20” barrel, over a 24/26? Is a couple hundred fps worth being concerned over at 600m?
