Having a hard time getting my barrel clean even after a little brushing and several cleanings. I don't really care for the sake of being clean, but I am a little worried about the dreaded carbon ring. I am shooting win 6.5 stabal , and it's pretty dang dirty shooting powder. If I were getting my barrel clean each time I wouldn't worry about it but after inspecting my cleaning or lack there of with a borescope, I'm thinking I need to change my system a bit.

I'm afraid to use any of the abrasive stuff but I may have to if I actually want it clean. Frank's words about using the abrasive stuff like Iosso or something like it has made me not consider anything like that as an option....

Not sure where to go from here or even if I am getting it clean enough to prevent any carbon ring issues or similar issues. Had some weird pressure stuff that went on yesterday and it has me thinking about this. Could have just been the rain though....

I guess my question is "how do I know when it's clean enough" and "how can I get it cleaner without risking my barrel being messed up" ???

Printed using TPU filament (Thermoplastic polyurethane) gives the pouch rubber like properties and is very durable. I have yet to break one with physical force!

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a bolt action rifle that I would do mainly PRS league shooting and some occasional hunting with. I was looking at options like a Springfield Waypoint, Ruger Precision, Seeking Havok PH2. My main question is what would be the best caliber to learn how to shoot long ranger with? I've had some say the .308, some have said the 6.5/6mm/7mm. Just looking for some advice. I have little experience with PRS and long range shooting but I went out to a PRS event and really enjoyed it. Thanks for all the help! Any other advice is more than welcome

I have a short barreled (20”) 300 win mag build underway and I’m looking to shoot it pretty much exclusively suppressed. I do not know what type Supressor I want although I’m leaning tbac from my reseach. Silencerco had a good deal with getting a pistol suppressor for free if I get a harvester and I’ve seen some good stuff from. I think I want direct mount but would like some advice on what people are shooting on precision rifle platforms

i've have a bartlein M24 blank .264 and an impact SA with nothing attached. I've have both a standard and mag bolt for it. Both have been laying around collecting dust. Thinking of going 260 as i don't need another 6.5CM as i have 2 now and a 6.5SS. Tried doing a seach on here, but didn't find anything. I've got some brass and dies i picked up recently , plenty of bullets and powder to load. Is it worth wasting money on chambering a barrel for. I was thinking a couple years ago it was a hot commodity, but haven't seem much lately. I'm sure resale would b better with a chambered 6.5CM. I'm sending a 6CM barrel to DS Tatical to get threaded, and figured i'd send this along and save some shipping cost. They did a chamber job for me recently for the 6.5SS and did a heck of good job. Thoughts? Thanks
